I think its a great singing and that horrid goal he scored against us in 2007 is now forgotten.............................but not forgiven

He had a major injury recently and took a while to get back to shape. That for me doesn't qualify him as injury-prone.

82 games in prem in 4 seasons with 48 being starts .

over 250 appearances in 7 seasons

I think he's only had two major injuries hasn't he? its a bit overstated IMO

Joe Cole has made 28 Premier League starts in his last 2 seasons combined, the same amount that he made in 2007/08 alone.

yes because he had a serious injury which kept him out for the best part of two seasons. that's hardly his fault is it? it's not like he got an injury, came back, then got injured again and so on. that's what i class being "injury prone" as.

he's played over 38 games in a season in 5 of the last 7 seasons.

It's the last one that was the worry Greavsie - serious knee injury and since then he has looked a shadow of his former self - hopefully he can get the form he showed during his early seasons with Chelsea up until his injury .

Figures and stats dont mean :censored:. Cole had one serious injury and its took him a while to get back last season, but, helped immensely in chelsea WINNING the premiership.

Also, your stats dont show that for chelsea's strength in squad etc, or personal preference that cole was overlooked for the team.

I bet your missus has a real great time with your happy persona.  :p  :D  :p

FFS cheer up!

I apologise for showing a little bit of concern over the signing . Have stated if he recovers his form then it's a fantastic signing but as yet he still hasn't passed a medical yet and while it's a small step forward it's certainly nothing to get massively over excited about - the J Cole I saw last season isn't the Cole from 3 seasons ago and IMO is on the same level as Yossi so we have gained nothing at the moment IMO . Now it would be nice to have that opinion without any insults or abuse like is currently being dished out around the boards

Joe Cole is twice the player Bennayoun is - FACT.. not an opinion

Yes mate, we can safely say that is FACT

:buttrock

Well in Roy, he's given us hope!

Yahoo we have signed Cole - we are going to win the prem now we have signed a world class player - nothing will stop us now .

Is that better ? Do i have to start sheep noises now as it seems you can't voice an opinion of your own anymore

agreed mate, the last one was the worst but that doesnt make him injury prone. Just hope he can kick on from that injury and do the job for us.

We actually have some depth in attacking midfield in our squad. Unbelievable Jeff  :D

Funny how everyone thinks Hodgson is fantastic now he's signed Cole, fickle!

Anyway, great signing and a real message to the rest of the league that LFC are bigger than just offering CL football, we will be back with a bang when the new season starts, hopefully this will be a message to Torres that LFC mean business and he'll stay :)
