(in addition to the £40,000 the fundraiser at the club a couple of weeks before he resigned.)

Apparantly he signed a number of very large cheques but one the HSF one has become public knolwedge.

Rafa has left the club like some wanted yet the vultures still want more blood by trying to discredit a truly amazing gesture from someone who knew what it all meant to be part of the Liverpool family . By all means pick holes into his record as manager but to try and have a dig at him for this gesture is nothing short of disgraceful . It was a gesture full of respect , humility and knowing what it all meant .

As it's been said before, some of the Benitez haters simply lost the plot and it went beyond football for them. It became personal. They can all get f*cked, and while they are at it, they want to f*ck off from this football club because their ways of thinking doesn't belong to it. Go support Chelsea or something. You'll fit right in.

It's disgracful reg - are people really that pathetic and sad and disgusting and disgracful that they just can't let a person make a heart warming gesture without attacking him - its pathetic and I'm sorry no Liverpool fan who knows what it means to be a part of this wonderful club would ever question such a gesture - if they do then as emerald says go back to whoever you were supporting before 05
