Oh well 3 points but will this bode well for the next ten days, Honestly i think it will even a bad win is bound to give us confidence.

I think the boss would have seen alot of pluses this season and also seen what he needs to work on and players he needs to replace inorder for us as club to make the final steps towards becoming a major force challenging for the title sooner rather than later.

We shouldn't forget the fact that playing a game in wednesday doesn't help the team . Today's win is a good one.

Give us a battle in the second half there, terrible pitch, scrappy performance, still no goals from the erm strikers................but 3 very important points.
Cant complain job done, bring on Arsenal.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

I think Rafa needs to take off his spanish rose coloured glasses where Nando is concerned......

good win, poor performance but its 3 points, strikers still playing shi.t and not scoring. Must-win home game against arsenal in midweek, if we are going to keep close to man u we need 3 points. Going to be tough but then again arsenal are awful away

yeah....and i think the players and Rafa know that....but Wigan are a good side and it's not an easy away match....i think this will set us up to beat Arsenal

I thought we played quite well givin the state of the pitch and against a hard battling Wigan. Games like this are rarely going to be pretty in my opinion, but In the end we walked away with three point's and a clean sheet in tough circumstances, I'm happy with that and look forward to seeing some nice football on a better pitch next week.

Good result and hard faught.

P.S. Anyone see Rafa's awesome control of the ball? :D
