Seems like an age since we last played. Hard to know if two weeks off will have been a blessing or a curse. The players should be fresh anyway and a win is vital if we want to push on and have a good run in from now until the end of the season.

Unfortunately Sturridge is a doubt. If he's fit I can definitely see us winning. If not it will be a lot harder as we'll struggle to stretch their defence.

I'll go for a 2-1 win for us.

i hope sturridge is fit enough to play, it would be a great boost if we could continue our recent form and beat wigan in the same impressive manner that we beat swansea and zenit, especially in front of the live t.v camera`s.
we still have an outside shot at fourth and a big win at wigan might just put a bit of scoreboard pressure on spurs (and arsenal) who dont play until sunday.
if spurs lose (or even draw) against arsenal and then lose here at anfield the following week that 12 point gap will have halved in just a fortnight.

without sturridge thats probably the best side we can put out atm.
after their performances in the zenit game assaidi and allen would probably argue otherwise though.

Although we've often laughed at them, Wigan are no mugs. Our lads are gonna have to put in a full shift today if we want to pick up all 3 points.
