our passing and movement were slick during the opening exchanges, but that goal has sapped our confidence a bit.

its made a bit more harder for them too because of the way the ball has transferred straight from the back four to ngog and torres. if we continue to move around and keep it low, our quality will tell. if lucas and meireles can get into gear, this game will be won. right now our midfield two is being chased off the areas on the park where they are most effective.

you know anti hero i dont see it like that, I think up until the front 2 and wide players we look fine in posession but anything that reaches NGog, Maxi, Kuyt and especially Torres our play is turning to sh*t. We have had the better of midfield and only conceded from a shocking bit of defending from a set piece. Bar that and a long ball/ knock down/ shot combo that Carroll and Ameobi made they have been every bit as bad as us

The usual here. No real shape about us away from home. Can't get a foot on it for long enough spells, and we resort to counter-attacking football that breaks down within sight of the 18-yard box in short spells.

What is wrong with Torres at the moment? is he only half fit (Carrying a knock or something) or is it that he just doen't really want to play for RH?

No out ball as everyone is 20 yards too deep.
These are there for the taking.
The ref so far has been woeful giving poor decisions to bioth sides.
We need to push on and bring off Kuyt, he is not in form and too many attacks are breaking down when the ball comes to him.

we are not too deep, every time we try to make a pass to torres he gives the ball away and we have to move back, get a player up front that can keep the ball and we will look like a team thats pushing up all the time.

Are you for REAL ?

Meireles is the only player we have that's shown some desire and invention, imo he's been our best player..

As for the rest of the team, they all look stuck in second gear.

looks well out of shape but i think its more in his mind than anything, as soon as he starts to look good he gets hurt and then take 5 games to to start to look good again. he has been like that for almost a year now.

Wow, Torres had a bad half and he is now the worse striker in the world. Amazing.

Fk sake was really hoping we would stick with Babel in the set up.

Come on red men, don't let today become another stat in Roy's awful away record.
My new blog for my upcoming holiday.

Usually that's the case, and in spells we are here, but not as much as usual. Something just isn't working, be it due to the line-up or the tactics, or both. We look disjointed. Par for the course away from home under Hodgson.
