Man Utd v Liverpool - Sun 15th Jan 4pm

Liverpool Football Club - Games

Yup there is still plenty of games and points to be gained.
I just hope we beat them. It would be a nice punch to the gonads and increase our gap to 8 points.

Their squad is a level above ours. The fact we're above them in the league and go in with a chance of -realistically- ending their title ambitions with a win goes to show how good a job Klopp has done.

That said, if we go into this one missing the players we might be missing and not performing somewhere close to our best it could urn out bad for us.

I think our poor run of form might be a good thing. Usually, when we've been playing well, we've always struggled against the mancs. However, with something to prove, I'm hoping our players will step up and put in a big performance.

Another positive is we always show up against the "top sides".
We all want 3 points but tbh if we draw i wouldn't mind. Main thing is we keep up the pace for top 4 finish.

Yep, we always turn up in these games and I always feel confident of 3 pts in them. The only thing making me a bit nervy about this one is the team we put out.
I think Coutinho will start but my biggest concern is if Hendo is missing. He gets about in midfield and covers ground, gets his foot in and moves the ball quickly to the attacking players.

Can slows play down and isn't dynamic/athletic enough and you could see someone like Pogba running riot up against him whereas you know he won't get an easy ride up against Hendo.

Can with Hendo is fine but Can on his own is a problem for me. I've watched him carefully and whenever he is up against anyone dynamic, mobile and athletic, he tends to come out second best and Pogba is all those things.

Thats my concern aswel. I don't feel Can will be able to contain Pogba.
Hendo does get slated but we all have to admit he does play that deep role well. We really need him for this one.
Can has been performaning poor lately so i would play mid of Hendo Wij and Lallana.
Wijnaldum is more better than Can at cutting of play and chasing down the oppo.
Our pressing game has to be spot on tomorrow.
Problem with us is all it will take is 1 goal from Mancs to rock our confidence. It crucial we keep it tight at the back.
Mourinho is no mug and will have plenty of tactics up his sleeve.
If United take the lead he will just revert to his defensive tactics and exploit us when chance given.
I can't wait for the match but nervy.

With Chavs, Arsenal and Spurs all winning easily there's massive significance to today's game. No pressure lads.... ;-)

This clash no longer has the same rivalry it used to enjoy when Fergie on the touch line.

The look on his face when we won... priceless!

I very much doubt this game will be very exciting, a drab 0-0 or 1-1 at best.

I agree however there is an increasing hateful feeling with Mourinho under their wing. I can't stand that bellend.

Not confident for this. I'd love Klopp to outfox Maureen but can't see it with their form.

I'd take a draw now. Defeat will keep us 3rd and create a tiny gap between 2nd and 6th.

Coutinho is key here but feel Mane is going to be a massive miss - more than I thought he would be

This season is a lot bigger than just 3 points today. Whatever happens we need to keep Matip and Coutinho (but especially Coutinho) well away from the studs of these c.unts...
We need to have all our big guns back fully fit for the months ahead!

That said, it would be great to stuff Maureen and his girls.
COME ON RED MEN!

If we keep Ibrahimovic on a tight leash they won't score.  Come on lads, lets do it!

Think Pogba and Mikitariyan are the ones to watch. Cut off the supply and Ibrahimovic can be isolated. Obviously with the ball at his feet in and around the box he is a massive danger but we want him coming deep looking for the ball because he wont hurt you from there.

Midfield battle is going to be key today hence why i'm praying Hendo is fit
