League cup is not only the least of our priorities but it allows many of the fringe players a run out. Go figure.

Right ,because are senior players are performing so well we need to protect them from any harm...I agree this cup game isn't a priority this season but i don't know ,maybe our senior players need some more game time and practice ,as now they look like a shedow of themselves.

oh c'mon this isn't a match against QPR or reading, or even shrewsbury, its against northampton.

Yes, I know this is northamptons cup final, but surely that 11 is competent enough to beat them? - I mean yes is devoid of our first choice 11, but northampton are going to be facing  Agger, the big greek, the young but skillful Pacheco, regular first 11 midfielder Lucas, Babel (full dutch international and champions league appearances), Jovanavic (world cup player and first team player) and Ngog (fantastic scoring record at the moment who last season deputised for Torres).

Yes northampton will come out all guns blazing and try and take their game to us, but lets not underestimate our fringe players either

We can put any side out and beat these surely to God. Its not being disrespectful as I am keen on Non League Football and understand the :censored: end of the game but Liverpool should be beating these boys any day of the week and with any 11 they care to select. No excuses tonight.
