Possibly Shelvey right and Meireles in Gerrards position ?

If that is the lineup so what is Roy about talking about a strong lineup? isn't the same team which played the away game at Italy?

I really wish managers would stop blowing Farts at our faces with empty words and promises ,treating us like a bunch of idiots. This isn't our strongest lineup and not one that inspires anyone...

he started against Northampton and, quite rightly, hasn't been allowed near the first team since.

I was happy when I saw Jonjo but then as soon as I saw Poulsen  :angry:

Why bring him back when we have just had 2 wins on the trot?

I think Spearing could struggle.

Thats a good team I think, I don't know how the midfield will work, but we should beat Napoli. 2-0 to the reds.

I'd like to see a performance from Jovanovic. I'm not a big fan to be honest, but even players which aren't necessarily our best really need to step up to the plate at the moment, and I'd like to see the same bristling with intent player we saw in pre season. looking at the team he may even at some point get a go up top, but wherever he is I hope he really puts it in.

He strikes me as the kind of player who would really react to being a bit of a fans favourite, and from having the famed "arm around the shoulder" from the manager. He doesn't look happy to me at the moment, but given we are paying him 70K a week by all accounts, when you add it to the Joe Cole salary we could really do with these lads finding their feet.

Fingers crossed for Milan tonight, needs a goal.

Well i think, Spearing and Poulsen will start in centre mid.  jovan will be out left.

the only question is, were will Shelvey and Meiriles play?  one will play RM and one will play off Ngog. 

Im surprised that Pacheco hasn't been given a shot.  Whats happened to him?  He looked good coming on from the bench for the first team earlier this year.  (especially against Trabzonspor).  I heard he was awful against Northampton but we have to give these kids time!

we have to watch hamsik 2nite. I was quite impressed wiv him hes got good passing ability and hes on manshites radar so will know will be being watched.

It's a joke that he's not involved imo.

That team we've selected is so narrow. Where's the width going to come from? And as for Mereiles or Shelvey out on the right. Yawn.

Can't see where the creativity and goals are going to come from but I'm happy to be proved wrong.
