really thort this thread'd b buzzin by now...
decision surprised me timin wise, i had visions they'd keep RH in, giv him th chance t leave with a glorious win aginst the scum or take the opportunity of defeat to sack him. as it is, all done and now there should be a spirit in that dressin room akin to nothin they'v experienced outside of Istanbul....
unsure if i'm honest, a good performance with fight'll be a start, somethin positive for Kenny to build on. way things are the PL's far more important than a cup run other than the confidence it could instill.
nerves are janglin already..... :)

I always think that if you are struggling for quality in certain positions then the best way is to try and pick your best 11 footballers and fill the gaps with those guys. For me this would be the best way forward until we can bring half a dozen in and weed a few out.

Kenny Dalglish has named his first Liverpool team since his return to the dugout for this afternoon's FA Cup third round clash with Manchester United. Listen live online from 1.25pm GMT.

Glen Johnson is absent because his wife is in labour, while the likes of Daniel Agger, Martin Kelly and Fabio Aurelio return for what is bound to be a memorable day at Old Trafford.

The team in full is:

Reina, Aurelio, Kelly, Agger, Skrtel, Meireles, Lucas, Maxi, Kuyt, Gerrard, Torres.
