how we doing fellas cos I've missed it so far? we doing ok then?

It's been a good first half and these starters look solid. If we somehow manage to keep Bellamy, like the above user said, we'll actually have a good squad.

is the brendan rodgers style of football being played out there then?

Well what a huge difference!

We are ripping them a new one, I know they are a poor side but Luis is looking "WORLD CLASS" very few in at that level in the world.

I see why brendan let aquilani go now. Stevie much better given freedom but if you give him that you need 2 disciplined midfielders in lucas and Allen to pickup the scraps and give stevie licence to go forward.

Twice in the first half the ref was wrong with an offside call on Suarez.  The commentators are saying they were wrong there with Borini, and it would have been wrong off the Gerrard pass, but the ball hit Suarez as it went past him, so Borini was correctly called offside.

Unfortunately I think the ref was calling him off from the Gerrard pass.


Allen here watching the game.  I have a feeling the transfer is pretty much done, they're just not announcing until after the game.  I suppose Allen will be ready for the next training session.
