It will help us that Chelsea went to the CL-final. They will have their focus more on it.

Why worry about the fa cup , Chelsea should concentrate on finishing 4th just in case they fail in the CL Final....DUH !

2 weeks in between finals....Chelsea will not take the FA Cup lightly............. :no

Wouldn't surprise me if we played a 5 3 2 like we did last season

I expect Reina Johnson carragher Agger Enrique Gerrard Suarez and Bellamy to be recalled

Play a side of

                                  Reina
Johnson.  Carragher.   Agger.   Skrtle.  Enrique

                        Gerrard.       Henderson

Suarez.                   Carroll.             Bellamy

Not many teams would beat this

Di Matteo and Chelsea will have their eyes firmly focused on the FA Cup. It's a fantastic competition and one that Chelsea always enjoy winning, they'll be doing everything in their control to win the match on Saturday, the Champions League final won't even come into their thinking until after the FA Cup final.

Dalglish hasn't lost to Chelsea in 27 years apparently. Then again teams like Fulham and West Brom hadn't won at Anfield for 25 years to.

Anyone else praying that Carra wasn't been Rested last night?  I love Carra but I hope Kenny doesn't start him in the final.

As i said earlier i expect us to go 5 at the back. I also think Carragher will be very instrumental as part of a trio of CB as it will allow Agger and skrtle to go forward especially Agger.

Our biggest problem saturday will be taking our chances. Against a team like chelsea chances will come few and far between so if one pops up it needs to be buried.

I also hope Stevie gets the license to roam forward as with him assisting the attack it makes us a far better side.

Lastly i hope David Luiz plays as Suarez will force about 5 penalties from the guy

I too have also been a closet dweller for the last 5 years  ,I have at times often been forced to use great restraint in keeping my love
and obsession for this  wonderful  team at bay ,but now I must profess to being enchanted by the magical ritual that occurs every
season at this amazing football club ,that being the regeneration of the manager .

I look upon Stamford Bridge with envy as my own team and fans foolishly believe in keeping faith with the manager, even after a whole
season and a half .  ??? Unbelievable I know ...

We meet the team I speak of on Saturday at Wembley Stadium and for once my loyalties are torn .....What should I do ?

Postby red till i die!! » Thu May 03, 2012 1:50 pm

this is without doubt our biggest game of the season and a must win for the players and manager.
wembley is a happy place for us and hopefully it continues.
we are always able to raise our levels for the big games so i expect us to have a right go of it and pip them in the end.
id go for.
                                                            reina.
                        johnson           skyrtel             agger        enrique.

                                                        spearing.

                               bellamy                                      downing
                                                      gerrard
                                        carroll                    suarez.

god only knows what team we will actually field but i hope the ones that are selected do the club and themselves proud.
ill predict a 2.1 win for us with suarez and gerrard on the score sheet.
cmon redmen this is the big one that can right so many wrongs this season :buttrock
