Rafa vs fergie heats up!!

Rafa Benitez today dismissed suggestions from Alex Ferguson that whoever wins the Champions League quarter-final between Liverpool and Chelsea will be the biggest threat to Manchester United in the Premier League.
The Old Trafford boss claims the loser will be knocked off their stride in the title race.

But Benitez told his pre-match press conference: "If Chelsea are not in the Champions League he knows they'll be a threat, and if Liverpool are not he knows we'll be a threat - he loses either way.

"I think they (United) have a problem because, clearly, either us or Chelsea will be able to focus on the league.

"I think he will be supporting Liverpool because we are the big threat now and if we continue in the competition maybe we'll be tired.

"You will have time to prepare for every single Premier League game (if you are eliminated), so clearly he will be supporting us.

"He likes to talk too much about other teams. I don't think it's mind games - I think maybe he's a little bit scared."

:D lol Lurve Rafa.. no holding back there ay.. :D

see how Fergie's been chewing his gum a bit faster lately .. he's met his match.. even O'Neil was moaning about the time keeping at OT.. they're all catching on   :nod

the more teams get at them (mancs) the worse they look take last night porto went at them and just like we did they made them look second rate, just hope that other teams left to play them notice this and seet out to do it as well

the more they get put under presure and the more they are made to look bad the more red nose will look to change things and then they will not be playing THERE game and will be even worse

come on red men fecking stick it to them

Good news/a positive is the mancs have conceded at least two goals in each of their last four games, that's good because previously the media had been waxing lyrical about their defence and the clean sheets.

I hope nobhead neville keeps his place, surely the RB should have been covering the far post when Porto equalised. You can bet he blamed everyone else, keep up the good work nobhead

Dont know why but im more bothered about us vs blackburn than tonights match.. Usually when we play a big match as big as tonight i get a really nervy feeling. Must be not that bothered because want the league more. Anyhow double will do just fine.  :)

same here. Obviously would love us to progress to the final, but the league is our priority.

Nah we have so much momentum about us now I don't think that will happen. Look after the Madrid game, and then after the internationals we beat Fulham. We will win tonight and then win again on Saturday....convinsingly!  :;):

Did I spell that right? I don't care.

Exactly my thoughts. Keep that tripe off of here. It's aggravating enough as it is on here without  having filth like that c*nt pollute my monitor.
