yes, I would prefer that they only won it once in the 90's.  We are still a very high seed, so no need to want the Manc's to have won more. :)

Can't we get an inquest into their games, get them up on charges of match-fixing, strip every title they've won under the drunken red-nosed wankbandit, and then they can shut their f*cking Manc faces about their pitiful second-place trophey haul?

If not - can we shoot the feckers?

The Italians get away with throwing flares at people's heads, and numerous countries get sh#te fines for racism towards players, yet with this Greece get banned.

just imagine what they would do if they were English clubs...

I think it tough running FIFA or UEFA. Sometimes it isn't really fair when you see the italian club fans throwing flares, the spanish taunting of racists remarks and yet they do not ban from prestigious football. I suspect alot got to do with money. These top clubs bring in money wherever they play.. Tv rights.. etc So if you are running FiFA or UEFA, would u want to risk banning the Italians, Spanish or even the English and risk lossing millions of dollars per yr?

Some of them are bad influence to the society but the key here, i think, it is education. Only thru proper education, kids will learn what is right and what is wrong from a very young age. Keeping out countries or football clubs from competition does not put an end to these nonsenses.

I heard from the ESPN Sportcenter last nite that we are seeded no. 4 for the Champions League?? the  highest of EPL club, followed by ManU and Arsenal, and the Chelsh*t is only the second level seeding. Somebody can confirm?

As if the UEFA feels that we should be the Champ of EPL.

Yup. You are right. And JM is not happy abt it... made some comments on the paper... But who cares. They have only won 2 straight EPL titles and not even the champions league title, so how can they be consider to be in the top seedings??

in short, they have got no history!

As funny as it is though, i think we would be as equally p!ssed off if we were denied seeding for the CL after 2 successive titles!

The seeding for the CL is calculated on the number of games played within UEFA competitions (I.e. CL or Uefa Cup) and the amount of points accrued from those games. They use the last 5 yrs worth of competitions to calculate the coefficients to produce an current ranking:

                           01/02 02/03 03/04 04/05 05/06       rank06

1 AC Milan        23.1  31.2   16.9   31.6   26.1     129.0
2 FC Barcelona  27.9  31.1   16.7   17.1   34.2          127.0
3 Real Madrid    35.9  27.1   21.7   18.1   17.2          120.0
4 Inter             21.1  28.2   15.9   22.6   24.1          112.0
5 Juventus       18.1   29.2   12.9   23.6   23.1          107.0
6 Liverpool       22.8   20.5   14.7   30.1   17.8     105.9
7 Arsenal         15.8   17.5   17.7   19.1   31.8          101.9
8 Man Utd        28.8   26.5   15.7   17.1   12.8          100.9
9 Valencia        18.9   27.1   29.7   14.1   5.2       95.0
10 Lyon            12.3   10.6   18.4   23.8   24.6       89.7
-------------------------------------------------------------
14 Chelsea          8.8   5.5    22.7   25.1    17.7          79.9
