you can get all 5 sky sports channels here and they are live.
its perfect to watch but just ignore any of the cra'p that tells you your player is outdated and you need this plug in etc etc. just wait untill they time out and close them.
enjoy :nod

Who said he was finished and should be moved on ?

Been our best player (again) so far this year, not as swashbuckling as in his younger days but more mature and considered and his goal today against Man City showed that some of the "old" Gerrard is still alive and kicking   :buttrock

Felt like a classic Stevie G goal has been coming.  He's been getting into that spot at the top of the box more often and starting to hit them from there again, and has come close on a couple occasions.  I think putting one in the back of the net could give him some more confidence to start really pulling the trigger again.

In other news, Gerrard apparently requires a shoulder surgery. Hope he won't have to miss games.

Showed all the passion we have lacked for large parts of this season yesterday ,and looked for all the world like the captain we have been missing.
Gerrard was everywhere and showed some real pace in getting on the end of Coutinhos delicious defence splitting pass....something I had strongly
believed he had lost .

Our biggest challenge as a ballclub would be replacing this captain...

i dont think we will ever replace him in terms of like for like, he`s probably the best player we`ve had in our entire 120 year history.
we just have to go in a different direction.

I'm not sure if I want to say happy birthday. Can't he stay young and play forever? 33 years old. Time flies.

Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard to sign new deal in next 24 hours

By Ben Smith
BBC Sport
Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard will sign a new two-year contract at Anfield in the next 24 hours.
Talks between Gerrard's agents and Liverpool managing director Ian Ayre have been ongoing since the end of last season and the parties have reached an agreement that will see the England captain stay at Anfield past his 35th birthday.

Gerrard in numbers

630 Liverpool appearances
159 Liverpool goals
1 Champions League winner's medal
1 Uefa Cup winner's medal
2 FA Cup winner's medals
2 League Cup winner's medals

Gerrard's current deal had been due to expire at the end of next season but manager Brendan Rodgers had made the future of the 33-year-old a priority.

It is now more than 14 years since Gerrard made his senior debut for Liverpool and this deal will ensure he spends his career with one club.

Liverpool depart on a pre-season tour of Australia and Asia later on Monday.
Gerrard made his Liverpool debut on 29 November 1998 in a Premier League match against Blackburn Rovers.
Succeeding Sami Hyypia as club captain in 2003, Gerrard was the Reds' top goalscorer in 2004-05, 2005-06 and 2008-09, and has scored a total of 159 goals in 630 senior appearances for the club.
His honours include one Champions League win, one Uefa Cup, two FA Cups, three League Cups, two Community Shields and two Super Cups.
