I was discusted and dismayed at the booing coming from liverpool supporters after the anouncement the old big ed had passed away before kick off against man u. This minority are not true football fans, It is my true belief that liverpool and forest have close ties through competition in the 70's/80's and the hillsborough disaster. As a forest fan i show the upmost respect to all liverpool supporters. YOU should do the same. Both your club and football have been let down.

I agree with your sentiments,forest fan,but I can understand why certain individuals may have booed because of Brian Clough's outrageous comments over Hillsborough only a few years ago.

The man wasn't himself through illness and drink and although outspoken he did state in a local tv interview that he regretted what hes said and appologised for any offence caused. This was an appology but in a cloughie style.

My mum rang me up and said see cloughies dead, he was an old git him the comments he made about us after Hillsborough, and my mum is not usually a vicious person to speak ill of the dead and thats just one voice so imagine the rest of the fans :glare:

LFC fans have never gotten over Hillsborough and losing 96 may they R.I.P.
And we have no time for people who critisize and blame us LFC fans for there deaths.
There is a Hillsborough forum on here maybe you should go and have a read.

Forest fan, you show some respect and dont come on this forum demanding we pay respects to one man, particularly when that man showed no respect whatsoever for 96 of our own who went to a game one Saturday afternoon and never came home.

Shove it up yer ar*e yer cheeky git. I agree with Leon. I'f you had taken the time to look there are a number of tribute's to him in this Forum :angry:

The lack of respect Cloughie showed many Liverpudlians will never be forgoten, if some can forgive following his admission he was wrong. Many of the people booing may well have been personally affected by his tactless senseless comments. If you had lost friends n family would you be quick to forgive such a statement
