Sack Him - All Venting In Here Please

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby Bammo » Wed Oct 21, 2009 4:13 pm

Rafa must take the blame for not motivating the players enough. We've had our share of injuries and luck but apart from Benny Noon none of the squad players seem to want to win a place in the team.

Having said that, I think sacking Rafa would be a major step backwards. The likelihood is we won't get Mourinho (which would mean dull football by the way) or Hiddink. We'd end up with someone much worse.

I hear Klinsmann is available :(

I'm in that camp too - the club needs Rafa. Sacking him could see us flounder like we've never done before.

kidna like we're floundering...now?

I mean finish in the bottom half, that kind of floundering.

I'll post back on Monday then

We have a MAJOR injury crisis... Gerrard Torres and that right back... we are in trouble now lads... we are floundering, and when we have a player whos actually doing well... we go and sub him in the games we are playing.

I really hope im wrong but im super fecking depressed that we are going nowhere but down in the table

why would someone who has no affinity with this club have anything against that newspaper when it doesnt effect him?  ???

Plenty of jobs going in Italy, why should Rafa worry?

I'm behind the manager as ong as he is manager, but he's destroying our chances again and again. why, when we have money probs, does he spend SOOO much on a player who cant even play for months... he has signed over 60 players and most of them were useless.

Yes the owners suck, but you cant lay all the blame with them!

Because who were the alternatives? Lee Cattemole for f***s sake. For the limited money that Rafa has to spend (raised by selling players, not by the owners giving) Aquilani was the best option available in Rafa's eyes and after spending big on Xabi and Masch (in our comparison) I'd trust him when it comes to spending big on a central midfielder.

If the owners provided proper funds and didn't force Rafa to sell his players, then we would be in a better position. Truth is, it's the owners fault for bleeding the club dry of any funds from their own back pocket.

So if no alternatives just blow the lot on a crock?

We have funds, we have signed more players than most teams... just they are poor players. And the subs he is doing...madness...

I a, just becoming dissalussioned with Rafa lately, but lets just see what he can do

Since when has Aquilani been a crock? He hasn't even kicked a ball yet for us. Ask the Roma fans what they think of the player, or ineed anyone who knows Italian football. Most are very, very upset that he left. He's one of the jewels of Serie A. To buy a fully fit, on form Aquilani would have probably priced us out as per usual.

What if Ronaldo, or Kaka were injured with the recovery window of a few months. What if their value suddenly dropped because of this and we could afford to get either one of them for dirt cheap?  Would anyone in here be critical of our manager then for buying a class player for under the odds? I don't think so.

Other managers I take a pop at are peter reid , Glen hoddle , zola , or even Steve bruce cos lets face it those managers know our league inside out.

An you wanna know why i said some are half A.sed fans, Dazzer. How could any Liverpool fan even think about having anyone of them as our manager, Its not a Xbox or Nintendo game here, There not good enough to be on our coaching staff never mind manage us, Im still shakin me head in disbelieve here , Bruce an gobs.*i*e Reid. Fecking hell Marcello Lippi betta be dead worried . :no

Aquilani is not Messi or Kaka, and how can you say he is not a crock as he ahs not kicked a ball yet for us?
what man would buy a player who is injured for months and months when we are in money difficulties?

aquliani is nowhere near the class of Kaka or Ronaldo though is he, so your point is irrelevant. Van der vart and Snijder who are both superior players to Aquilani were available and fit for cheaper prices in the summer and yet we passed on them, that makes zero sense to me.

Harry Redknapp type for Liverpool manager has to be the best one. The same Harry Redknapp who has god knows how much experience of managing and has won 1, yes 1, major trophy. The same trophy Rafa won with just two years of managing experience in the league. The same Harry Redknapp who is now advertising for that s**t rag of a paper. Whereas Rafa knows which two papers not to even look at never mind give interviews for or advertise. Oh yeah we really need a Harry Redknapp type don't we. Seriously some of the fans on here haven't a clue about Liverpool Football Club, it's history, it's traditions or it's luckiness to still have a man with as much class, dignity and loyalty as Rafa has. Anybody even suggesting we should be looking at anybody like Redknapp should be f*****g hung by the nearest lamppost on Bold St.

You're the type of fan who'd go to the match hoping we lose just so you get to boo like the pathetic fickle fans you are. True support is shown through the bad times, not just jumping on the bandwagon when we're winning. It seems like a few on here know that, whereas others think it's a supporter's job to slag the players and manager off at every given chance.

Look at the bigger picture, it's the owners who are ruining the club. It's Rafa who is holding the ship together. Without Rafa we'd be well and truly f****d. With him there is always hope in our hearts, just like the song says.

And we will walk through the storm (or at least those who know what supporting this club means will) and we will see the golden sky for the fickle fans to come and celebrate.

In Rafa We All Will Always Trust!!!
