Aye up another uber fan i our midst . 

I tell you this much Igor, and I'm no uber fan, if they'd have given the job to Pelligrini or someone like that I'd have given him a go. I was dead against going with another manager from La Liga, I made it absolutely clear at the time, but if they'd have given him the job I would have said lets give the fella a couple of seasons at least before you jump all over him.

Some of the people on here are so terrified that a new manager is going to come in and make a success of things (and then by definition make their stance on Benitez look ever more silly) that they can't even dare to give the new man a chance. They have this strange notion that if the new man comes in and also fails, it proves the impossibility of the job and so therefore vindicates their argument. I know yourself and benny will deny this to be the case, but I am absolutely convinced it is true.

Like I say though, I would give any manager a good go. If they sack Roy tomorrow and give the job to Glenn Roeder, you've got to give the guy a good crack at it before you can decide he is sh!t. Half of you lot decided it before Roy even took over, and despite the FACT that our results have been decent since he started, you want to use the fact that we aren't playing flowing football yet as a stick to beat him with.

It's all good, but it is still a bit embarrassing to tell the truth.

You can be the manager for all I care - it's the results and performances that the manager produces and IMO at the moment the performances are bloody awful and I want them to improve - all that matters is that we are successful - who is manager doing it makes no difference at all as long as they do it .

Of course it makes a difference you didn't want him here to begin with because of the way in which Rafa left. The signing of J.Cole didn't even get you excited and we've only lost 1 competitive match and you are turning on Roy because of his performances. If that were Rafa he'd have been hailed a tactical genius by now.

I'm giving him ago , all i'm doing is venting my anger on an internet forum which nobody reads anyway . Look it started of with critisism of his team selection and his failure to make changes sooner and for the better  . It has ended with with me hounding the man out of a job . Histrory is once again being re-written . You've gotta laugh you really have  If pelligrini had done the same or Kenny or who ever i would have said the same . It's just baffeling why you can't accept that he's made a couple of mistakes . Yes yes i know so did Rafa blah blah blah .

The previous manager has gone he is no longer in charge of us now - what happened when he left means nothing now - we have to improve and move forward - that's why we had a manager change -. At the moment we are playing awful and has had a poor start in the prem- for years now people critising previous manager used to say the prem is the bread and butter - one of the reasons they said manager was brought in was to make us more competitive in the prem - well at the moment I'm not seeing it and I want things to improve and improve quickly before we lose more points and slip further behind - we have had a hard start then we have some winable games - we have to get positive results and positive performances from those games to get the confidence up and to increase our chances of being competitive again with the top clubs in prem and Europe .

All this nonsense about "who's saying sack the manager" They say the bloke should never have been given the job in the first place, they dismiss his record, they take the p!ss out of the way he talks, they take the p!ss out of the places he goes on holiday, they accuse him of being a long ball manager, they say he's trying to turn us into Fulham, they attack him when we've lost one out of our first 8 matches, they deride his every move, but because they haven't actually written "sack the manager" it means they are actually extremely loyal fans who like having him as our manager .


Embarrassing really to see supposedly the best fans in the land hiding behind the bikesheds and doing their criticising. At least those of us who criticised Benitez admitted we wanted a manegerial chage, and at least we gave him THREE OR FOUR SEASONS before we began to lose faith. This sniping in the desperate hope that you can proclaim that you     told     us     so   is nothing short of childish.

Four league games, we've lost one, four European games, we've won all four, and you've got numpties saying the manager is out of his depth. You really honestly couldn't make it up if you tried. Embarrassing.

It left me the day , rafa was sacked . I don't care anymore i've been supporting Rafa from the day i was born nearly 41years ago . Infact my dad supported rafa before me and his dad aswell . On that faithful day  when the rafultion ended so did my uberfanness . I then decided to become an armchair supporter and wind the feck out of you and mick . Good decision i reckon ,i'm now a slave to skysports and Andy gray . I've started a campaign to keep the owners because it's not there fault were in a mess it's Roy's . Can i sign you up .
