There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

OK
So you want us to improve and move forward, be more competitive in the prem, get positive results and positive performances to get the confidence up.
You want to achieve this by moaning, whineing, whingeing, criticising and generally being negative and disrespectful about our manager.
Do you think this will work?

Is this not an Internet forum where you can air your frustrations at the way things are going or do you have to be all happy clappy- what I or anyone says in here doesn't effect the players or manager one single bit .

And boy do you air your frustrations!
Im not suggesting you be all "happy clappy" but, as Ive said, we get it. Really we do.
And I wouldnt underestimate the power of the internet. If enough people agree with something it can have a powerful effect. Plus how do you know that Roy or Lucas isnt looking at this forum righ now and thinking "they hate me"
???

I remember getting in trouble for watching that as a kid. A sex scene popped up just as me mum walked in the bedroom. EVERYBODY was awake when she saw it she hit the bloody roof !  :D

Anyway now people have got the extremities out of their system, this is what I'd personally like to see Roy do. Coincidently it's very similar to what I'd like to have seen his predecessor do.

Firstly I'd like to see him play Agger instead of Skyrtel. Defensively they are close, but as footballers the Dane is a much better player.

I'd like him not to play two defensive midfielders in the same match. Lucas has to go, because quite simply he is awful. At the moment he isn't even playing well by his own standards, and it's painful to watch.

I'd like to see Steven Gerrard played in central midfield, because we need him there.

Ideally I'd prefer it if we didn't play Maxi Rodriguez, he isn't up to it I'm afrraid.

I'd like it if we can try and get a little bit of pace into the team out wide. If we are going to play Kuyt or Jovanovic, lets get someone with a bit of pace on the other flank.

I'd like to see us hunt the ball much higher up the pitch.

When we do attack I'd like to see us commit more men forward.

Whoever plays up top either in behind or with Torres, I'd like to see them get much closer to him.

I'd like us to play with more energy and at a higher tempo, as we did against Arsenal when we were down to 10 men.

That's how I'd like us to play, and we haven't played like it for a long long time. By "a long time" I mean long before Roy arrived. I remain confident that given time and support, Roy will implement the changes required. I say again, forget about Chelsea and the Mancs, we're trying to get into the top four. As it is, we are in the mix with Spurs, man City and Villa, and we've had/are having a much more difficult start. Plenty of time yet.
