i personally wont be bothered where we finish if we win a trophy.

Yes would love top 4, but we dont look like a side good enough for that right now. A trophy would be massive

6th place finish if we're lucky but 7th is more likely. Don't worry, we won't drop down to relegation zone again. Kenny may have to vacate his post in the summer.

If KK starts using the stick instead of the carrott we should see some changes. If we dont then the vultures will be circling and I fear he will not survive.
We can, and I believe will be in the top four, but this depends on desire and people taking responsibility. We have got to go out and smash City next week and push on from there.

Does 6th place get a UEFA cup place? If not I think we should aim for trying to win the FA and/or Carling Cup. No idea where we will finish in the league tbh.

Arsenal lost last night. We could have been 5th. :(

Agree with Kerry, the Carling Cup could really save our season.  Win it and we'll have our first trophy in 5 years which will create a hunger in our players to win more trophies.  We'll also qualify for the Europa league which will give us plenty more games for the likes of Shelvey to develop.

Or maybe will win it and the players will feel they have acheived their maxiumum and will have a mid table rest for 5 years.

what?

According to some it's now a world class competition...that's why the other finalist will be from the Championship

I hope it helps us like it did Birmingham...look at what it did for their players and season.

Your posts are so full of negativity.

I dont care about Birmingham.  But I do remember some of our more successful seasons and it all kickstarted with us winning the Carling Cup in 2001.

We then went on to win the FA and UEFA cups and qualify for the CL.  The following season we challenged for the title and did decent in Europe for our first season.

I honestly believe that winning the Carling Cup can kickstart future success for this new look team

6th or 7th place finish again if we don't make any quality signings which as each day passes it seems more and more likely.

Downing looks better playing on the left wing. This means there is a right wing position vacant and a finisher who can stick the bl**dy ball into the back of the net better than Carroll, Kuyt and Suarez.

Women to realise that soaps are sh*t and that football is wonderful.
Liverpool to win the Carling cup.
Ferguson (who is now calling himself a phenomenon btw) to start picking really naff sides as Alzheimers creeps in (he's already started).
Liverpool to win the F.A. Cup.
Harry Redknapp to be sentenced to 15 years for corruption.
Liverpool finish 4th.
Special Brew to be sold to people over 40 for just a £1 a can (reefers to be given away for free to the same age category if they can prove they are a little fed up)
joey ate the frogs legs
made the swiss roll
now he's munching gladback
