FURTHER TO THIS  - I don't watch SKY SPORTS or listen to TALK SPORT.

All my own thoughts based on what little knowledge I have on the game.

Bit hard to give any target tbh. He was in my eyes shafted by the owners and the lack of depth in the squad has left us looking bare. The youngsters may be able to help out now and again but everyone knows you need some experience around young players. The current squad is not balanced.

I'm not going to give a final position for which we should aspire to but I just want to see us playing a better brand of football. A nice run in the FA Cup and Europa League would be nice too.

I won't judge BR too harshly while he is still fixing the mess left by previous managers. Top 10 finish with no cups is ok given the situation.

I'd rather watch our young stars shine than lift Capital One Cup at great expense.

1) he's not a Liverpool supporter

Where are you getting this information from? ..Your basing that on what!??

I am one of those who didn't fancy Rodgers getting the job in the first place, in favour of a more experienced manager, just like when Roy Hodgson took charge, I didn't fancy him much either. And look how it's cost us so far....7 League games 1 win! How poor is that?? Due to this, it has ruined any chance of us getting in the top 4 this season. I for one am annoyed that we won't be in the champions league next season, as well as this.

Before you all now start coming out with loads of excuses like its a transitional period or he needs time to implement his system/ tactics or any other garbage, let me tell you...

does this mean that our season has to suffer as a result of waiting for BR to make mistakes and (if ever) get it right? Those of us who have forked out £800 + for a season ticket, whilst we basically watch the youth team in action, and loads of other inexperienced players playing at senior level!?

I for one, think we are going in the wrong direction, and needed to buy proven quality to stay in touch at the top. This larking about with the youth players, shows nievity by BR and inexperience as a manger, as our results will suffer like they are, whilst we wait for him to get it right.

Him starting a 17 Year old, every match, and three youngens (Suso, Wisdom and Sterling) starting on Sun, fills me with horror.
Am I the only poster on here that can see that!!???
I don't even know if I would trust Rodgers with a huge purse come January if he got the same cash that Kenny did.
We will see who is right come January/ end of the season, as we nowhere near, have the experience/ strength and depth/ quality that we need to win consistently.

I base it on your continued negative and critical posting of the manager, club and owners. Your opinions border on nonsense most of the time.

Enjoy your time here, I can't see it lasting.

For me a top ten finish would be sufficient, providing we show the potential to move up the table next year.

We need to give the manager at least two seasons after this one also before we look to measure his success.

Nice post.

I personally would like to see top 6, but this would hinge on a strong finish after signing a striker in the transfer window.

YES - Because if ANYONE had great knowledge of football, they wouldn't be putting finger to keyboard. They would be out there making MILLIONS professionally.

Any position higher than 8th is acceptable to me. As long as we are making progress, that's all that matters to me.

Kenny Kan, now there's no chance of that is there in the real world. Brendan is definately going before me. :eyebrow

Because they are no where near experienced enough, and whilst gaining experience now as they play, will cost us points.
Sterling has so far, struggled to beat defenders down the flanks, that he world normally beat for fun in the youth team, because at senior level players are far stronger physically.

Southcoast, I think you will be axed from this forum, even before Brendan gets the boot, and long before me.

Reason? You cannot control your anger, letting it spill onto this forum, insulting other members with foul mouth abusive language. Something that I never do.

I'm surprised you are still here. :nod  :nod

Would you rather start with Downing over Sterling.

When was the last Liverpool game you went to because it sure wasnt Stoke as the 3 youngsters were the only really hope we had
