All the teams below us lost points today. We play Pompey next week as well. Good win and by the sounds of it - a comfortable injury free, morale boosting work out for Wednesday.

Good easy result for us.

Pennant's confidence was a great site to see. His dancing on the ball near the end shows he is really enjoying his football now. Early on in the season he seemed worried about trying things for fear of stuffing them up. A lot of pressure was on his shoulders given that he never was our first choice right winger but he is getting better and better with each game.

Gonzalez showed supreme pace with just his final ball still letting him down. Showed better confidence though near the end and hopefully a sign of things to come.

Kuyt looked impressive and his second goal was very well taken.

All in all everything looks good leading up to the Chelski game.

He did play really well, Bellamy looked sharp when he came on and helped kill the game off.

Kuyt had a good game today, but there were still to many times he frustrated.
