Defence has been poor in 1st half, doesn't seem to be enough communication in terms of when to push out and when not to.

The centre midfield needs sorted as well.  Hamann should be sitting in front of the back 4, not marauding around all over when we're in possession, that's how they broke so easily a few times.

Potter not good enough... again, Morientes off the pace... again.  We underestimated these Bulgarians, they're not bad at all, I'd get Carra and Alonso on for the 2nd half.

We've still managed to create a few chances, we're not playing badly coming forward, we just need to be a bit sharper all round.

I am furious with that 1st half display, utter garbage, im sorry but there is players on that pitch earning 40 grand a week who cant control a football, Potter risse Cisse and Morientes, need to get there fuc*in act together, its embarassing, these are not a terrible side, but its a long time since i seen a team come to anfield and hold and pass a ball as simple as that, center forwards are judged o goals and ares dont look like scoring any....AGAIN. Cisse once again has had chances, but same old story, hes not doing Rafa any favours in ending the Owen rumours, or the Kuyt ones now. 2nd half has to improve but one thing we have learnt by these qualifers, Potter is never going to be good enough, ive never seen a left back have an easier game, but not fair to pick one player they were all poor. Right winger urgently required to play for Professional football club, apply if you fit the critirea, good crosser and can beat a man, thats it. Antonio Nunez need not apply!!! See Nobby Solano got himself sent off after 10 minutes tonight, is there any chance he can make it for the 2nd half!
