It was expected that rafa would not risk torres , the team is pretty much expected . Have to watch out for gardner and elmander , good news is we don't have to deal with davies height

Reina, Carragher, Insua, Hyypia, Agger, Riera, Benayoun, Alonso, Gerrard, Kuyt, Keane.

Subs: Cavalieri, Ngog, El Zhar, Mascherano, Babel, Lucas, Darby.

I think the team looks very slow with only Gerrard supplying any sort of pace. I would have preferred El Zhah to Benayoun but neither for me are good enough. We look very strong at the back with Carra at FB so hopefully we will keep a clean sheet anyway. Struggle to 2-0 win.
