If Barcelona reel in Madrid then a certain Portuguese will possibly become available.

Regards Kenny, its clear that the scrutiny on his position is now in full flow... the media (loathe them as i do) is on his case. When that starts it magnifies the effect of every result.

Think you're doing a good job, Kenny? You have spent £113.3m and you're 28 points behind United

"After spending more than £100million on players, Kenny Dalglish must realise his Liverpool side have seriously under-performed this season. Six defeats in the last 10 Barclays Premier League games, nine in all, as well as eight draws at home, is simply not good enough. The widely-held view that the Carling Cup would be enough to satisfy the club’s American owners this season is not shared by many inside Anfield. Not even a Carling Cup and FA Cup double will keep them completely happy when the main objective was to qualify for the Champions League."

"Dodgy deals: Liverpool spent £55million to secure the services of Andy Carroll and Jordan Henderson"

"On and off the field, the Suarez affair has taken its toll and that is probably another reason why Dalglish deserves a second full season. But he needs to deliver. The Europa League might just about do for next season but a  top-four finish has to follow. Otherwise a decision will have to be made."

"It was on a balmy night in Oslo last August that Kenny Dalglish was presented with his Liverpool mission by owner John W Henry. Having backed Dalglish’s judgment to the tune of £113million, Henry declared before Liverpool’s 3-3 friendly draw with Norwegian side Valerenga that anything other than a top-four finish would be ‘major disappointment’.

Oh and Kerry we won't ever have Mourinho as our manager

Remove them, open your eyes, and see what everyone else can see.

Thats a good thing though. The day we get that scum is the true day that football dies.

He poked another manager in the eye FFS, the man is everythng that is wrong. Just because he has good sound bites for SSN or the rags don't make him the next big thing

mourinho would never be accepted by the majority of the true supporters who have got a clue about the ethos and history of this club, the fifa 09 generation might want him but they dont hold much sway thankfully.
plus mourinho in a recent interview called benitez a fat hurricane of disaster and other equally `classy` insults, apart from talking about a man who brought the european cup to anfield for the first time in 21 years he`s talking about a man who donated £96,000 to the hillsborough campaign and was in tears during the anniversary ceremony, mourinho would not be a popular appointment, it`s a total non starter, even if he wanted to come here the fans wouldnt have him.

Maureen and his sh#thouse antics would embarrass us. He'd go against any values that our club still has.

Not that it would ever happen anyway.

The Daily Fail ?  I have serious doubts about you being a Liverpool fan ,in fact I would go as far as saying if you're a reds fan then Desperate
Scouse Wives is not even remotely embarrassing ,and Fat Sam doesnt need a cap so big I could get my arse in it  .

I do find it funny how people are now starting to see what a great manager Benitez was for us. It's just ashame that these supporters decided to twist the knife in Benitez's back in his final season, forgetting everything he done for us, ignoring everything he done for us, simply because of one poor season. Quite why Benitez still has a fondness for this club after his treatment by the Owners, the men in suits and sections of our fan base, the media and his own players is beyond me. I have always been a huge fan of Rafa, have always respected him, never once wanted him to be sacked. I remember being on the .tv boards, reading about Rafa's departure and being in a flood of tears. I have never been so ashamed to be a supporter of this club than on the day this club removed Rafa as our manager. I was so upset that I was seriously considering severing ties with the club and not following football anymore. Rafa was not just our manager, he was one of us and he fought for the good of this club to ensure that us fans still had a club. If he comes back I will be the happiest Liverpool supporter on the planet - a wonderful manager, a wonderful man and a fantastic servant to our football club. Benitez is a legend of this club, an absolute legend and I am so proud to have watched his tenure as Liverpool manager. I hope one day he comes back, because he has unfinished business - but if I was him, I wouldn't bother, but that's the difference between myself and Benitez. Benitez is a man of impeccable class, I am not.

-The board won’t sack Kenny this season
-The board are very unhappy. The league was priority this season Kenny knows this. His goal was 4th
-There will be more money to spend, but not as much as last summer, unless someone ‘special’ is obtainable
-Next season will be very different. If league results don’t improve to push us into 4th then Kenny will be gone before November

Kenny has also isolated himself with the media by having a go at, or getting p!ssy with virtually every writer, tv presenter and radio guy.

i expected a challenge for 4th and so did the board in an ideal world. however they weren't coming out and saying "we have to get 4th or else". we've played some really decent stuff at times without the rewards and could also end up with two cups (i don't give a monkeys if we win them both on penalties after playing poorly).

this summer has to clearly be better in terms of recruitment policy clearly though. if we are not making progress in the league next season then questions will have to be asked.

Kenny's f**ked off every journalist, tv/radio  guy to entre Anfield in the last 12 months. They are looking forward to the potential of his demise as a manager

Who cares about the journos? They'll write what they'll write whatever Liverpool do it was the same first time around with Kenny a few of them were probably cork popping the champagne when he resigned in 91. Anyway Henry Winter from the Telegraph was on LFCTV the night of the derby saying that it takes time to build things and that under KK the club is more united now than it was eighteen months ago. The criticism from the press isn't universal.

I don't know whether KK will go in the summer. More games like the other night at QPR and the owners may well conclude that he's gone as far as he can in the premiership and that he'll be better off long term with the academy.
