Two big worries, the £70 million we spent on Downing, Carroll and Henderson - for what return? and still we lack any creative, midfield pace and flair.

His tactics baffle me at times, it stands out a mile Henderson isn't a right sided player, yet he continues to play him there.
Adam & Lucas are too slow to be a partnership.
Bellamy grossly underused, yesterday 73 minutes before he brought him on which frankly is a joke.

Hmmm...... In Kenny we trust eh? Negativity is like a disease and can only be a bad thing especially in the crowd because it transfers to the players.
Let's pack it in with the Kenny bashing and let him get on with his job. To say Henderson is "obviously not a right-sided player" is effectively saying that you know better than Kenny (and we ALL know that is wrong!)

Just like to say a big HELLO to all the Rafa bashers who ranted he took good players and made them bad and couldn't find the inspiration to get the Reds to beat the smaller clubs.

Kenny needs to sit down on monday and ask how come Mancini has inspired his motley collection of players to come winners and he cant.

Time is running out before top 4 slips away.

Not the point mate. As Reg as alluded to, the problems evidently go deeper. The problem is none of us are really sure what that is. Lack of quality in the squad, still?

This is what pis.ses me off the most. With the exception of Downing whom IMO was never worth 20mil even in his Boro days I thought they were all decent signings. If you looked at their contributions for their own teams last season you would have though ok they can bring something to the team. But it hasn't worked out that well.

I know it's only 11 games in but going by what we have seen so far generally it lookes like 70mil down the pan.

KK I highly doubt Reg has been waiting this whole time to bring up Rafa. At the end of the we all want to see Kenny and LFC performing like we know they can.

I don't understand how we were playing with such fluidity at the end of last season but this season we are lacking that edge. Maybe too many new players too soon and not enough quality there so we have become stagnant.

We looked a million miles away from a good team yesterday,

but i've got to hope that we can start to convert our chances, if we'd scored half the chances when we hit the woodwork we'd be talking about a title push.

Even yesterday, if big andy puts away that early chance its a different story.  The opening day against makems if downing's brilliant run and effort drops under the bar, the lad would be flying, again would've been a different story.

They say LUCK spreads itself over the season, we have been very unlucky so far, hopefully the 2nd half of the season will bring us better fortune

Saying that, it still does'nt excuse being outpassed by a promoted team at Anfield, it reminded me of blackpool last year.  it made me think of what Aqua, Raul or even Jonjo would have done to that shower.

The talent we got back from the transfer is not necessary a reflection of quality. British player is always overpriced. What worries me is that when the going is tough, it seems KK panic and didn't know what to do. Why he start Henderson in the first place? Adam and Lucas just aren't dynamic enough in Midfield. It seems our midfield was cut in half yesterday. We should go for the kill right from the start. We just let them back in and almost lost the game. This is beyond worry. This is reality folks. YOu can see the frustration is mounting on the pitch and just hope it won't start any distress in the dressing room. Hope KK start Bellamy from the get go and leave Henderson at the reserve. I think Maxi deserve a chance. In most of the game we played this season, most of the attack came from the left side and the right side just disappeared. Not sure how long KK will stick with Henderson but it seems we won't be getting in top 4 if he insists on playing Henderson in right, Adam and Lucas in midfield. I think we should play 4-5-1 instead of 4-4-2 unless we have a mascherano kind of player...Anyway, it was really frustrating to watch and I wonder how Henry feels....Henry is not afraid to pull the trigger and at most I would say we have 5 more games to see if we can stay in the hunt. Otherwise, we will be off loading players in Jan so we will start again.

He doesn't have anything directly to do with this but the same problem seems to be occurring where by we have players we know can play better but are not performing for us. No one is wagging a finger saying see I told you so.
