Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Contract means nothing these days. He probably won't leave this month but he's good as gone in the summer.

it might be 4 years left..i'm sure he signed a 5 yr deal but it might have been during last summer with GH.

Wish this season was over now cause im f@ckin sick of the players and the injuries   Im fed up with the lot of it, I really am, but guess what as we are sitting here typing things about them, they are sittin on a big fat pay cheque with some one weeks wages we dont earn in a year, and they wont be feelin to dissapointed tonight like we feel suicidal.

Again I ask the question what is the problem, is there something wrong in the attitude of the players (perhaps issues with SG saying he might leave), is it the tactics, the manager or choice of players or a lot of players not playing well etc.

Need some expert opinion as there is something drastically wrong with whats going on we are sliding into being a mediocre team, an easy game for struggling clubs.

Gerrard is not the cause of this current malaise.
Topics like this and negative feelings from the supporters will only serve to drive him away, keep your heads boy's and girls.

Redrider Stevie G wanted to go this summer and he should had left the contract he signed is pointless as he will leave in the summer. He talks about how poor the team is when he himself can't play well.

woof woof ! and Redrider

Agree with yer SG is not the problem he has a bad game and everyone blames him, surely he's allowed those and after all  he's carrying an injury isn't he?

Don't let your emotions get the better of you lad's! SG feels just the way we do, we get pi$$ed at poor performances and poor performers and so does he! But if we are looking for leadership out of a ****** situation, the he is a man to pull others along with him.

If he keeps playing like he has rescently we'll end up with the Michael Owen situation at the end. This is what happened last year.
