FABIO BORINI- Official thread

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Borini and his agent are slagging off the club in the press because he didn't get much game time.

This is after we told him last summer that he wasn't needed. Yet he refused to go. Hilarious.

Just want rid of mediocrity like him. Junk like this have no place at LFC. Go play for Sunderland or some other no mark club abroad

Why hasn't he gone yet???

It was obvious Rodgers was never going to take him seriously. Just look at how under used he was last season, despite our injury woes up-front. Even my black cat Sooty could have told 'andy' off Corra that!!

Rumours that Lazio want him on loan for £1m and then will pay an additional 7m at the end to buy him....but Fabio isn't interested as he doesn't want to leave England  :(

He had a perfect chance to stay in England with Sunderland but no, he was too good for them. Where does this guy think he'll go? Chelsea? Man City? f*cking hell I don't think I've heard of someone as stupid and arrogant as this guy. You're f*cking Sh*t mate, get over it and just leave already.

God knows....but he's proving a nightmare to shift, even at half the price of what Sunderland offered last summer  :veryangry

I think he's convinced he can still become a success here, he probably feels that he hasn't had a decent run in the side to prove himself and he doesn't want to leave a club of our profile without giving it his best shot.
He's 24 now and probably thinks he's a different player to the 21 year old that signed back in 2012, he just wants a chance to prove it.

Either that or he knows he'll have to take a pay cut to leave.

I don't think money is his motivation mate, QPR offered to triple his wages but he wasn't interested.
I think the way he looks at it is - 'I am at a huge club, you don't get to play for too many clubs this size in your career, a combination of injury and loan deals have meant the Liverpool fans haven't seen the best of me yet and I'm going to show them what I can do, I'm 24 now not 21 and I have scored goals in this country for struggling sides so I am more than capable of scoring for a side that creates chances'.
I think that's his position.

Surely the fact that he was used so sparingly last season and even Balo being picked ahead of him should tell him the writing is on the wall. Brendan doesn't want him. That message is loud and clear...

Borini is paid over 2 million for doing nothing, you're have to drag him out kicking and screaming. This isn't about football y'know...

put him on a 'pay as you play' contract. If its not about money he'll agree to it.
