none of the players have had one bad word to say about Rafa, except Riera.

And i think a lot of them will follow him to inter if they get the chance.

Masch, Pepe, Torres, Kuyt and Johnson at least were all happy with Rafa.

Conveniently forgetting when Rafa took Torres off and left Gerrard and everyone who was watching scratching their heads in disbelief.
The players didnt openly criticise him but their performances spoke a thousand words

He's starting to grow on me now tbh. Comes accross like a father figure type character like Shankly even and im sure others have said that too. I hope he does well for us.

Come on Stevie and Fernando, give us another year lads.
My new blog for my upcoming holiday.

I'd be delighted to get CL to be honest.

I think the days of us looking to win the league are gone unless a money man comes along.

Spurs and City are our rivals now.

Roy can get us 4th though. :buttrock

I full expect us to get back into the CL and maybe pick up one trophy, I expect CL after next year though.  Arsenal are weaker than us imo, we were just :censored: last year.  Tottenham won't be there the only competition will be City.  There's a huge hurdle at the start of the season though if it doesn't go as well as planned I hope the players don't quit and start giving up on each other.

People always write off arsenal and they always qualify

True but I still believe we are the better team just need people to pull their own weight and not whinge when things don't go our way.  Confidence is fragile though so I'm really worried about the early season games it'll more than likely decide how our season goes. :(

first thing RED ROY should do is ditch the zonal marking. That would be a step in the first direction:;):

Red Roy ?! Seriously ?! Also isn't he a fan of zonal marking and used it with Fulham and hasn't zonal marking been proved to work many many times. Don't be too sure about confidence being high , loose Torres and Gerrard and Masher and confidence could be very low - could still be low even if they do stay because we wont of got the investment the players have asked for . We are still seriously weak in numerous areas and the supposed 15 mil budget won't fill the gaps .
