But if the player doesn't want to move to Spurs, then it's meaningless.
In the summer, Lyon made a bid for Baros which was close to 10 million pounds. Now we accepted the bid, BUT Baros did not want to go to Lyon
So we accepted the next highest bid which was Villa
Putting it simply - if we have agreed personal terms then Brondby have f*ck all chance of stopping the transfer, as he can just refuse to move anywhere but LFC.
Oh and BTW. Can someone explain to me why one of the brightest defensive talents in Europe would want to go to Newcastle or Tottenham, rather than the reigning European Champions?
God only knows why Baros don't to go Lyon, Maybe his wage or he doesnt want to play under GH again.
The primary reason is that while Houllier was in charge, Baros was hardly given a chance to play.
The Brondby manager says that Agger is going to leave [why would they buy a CB if he wasn't]. He himself has given hints that he's leaving, the only question where is he going
Well that's is the primary reason. If not we are 10m richer.
I don't think the question is where is he going. The question that inside Brondby manager mind is who going to bid the highest. Then take it from there.
You haven't payed attention to the thread. It's not the Brondby manager who is deciding, it's their CHAIRMAN. He can't force Agger to sign for the highest bidder if he doesn't want to go there.
The only thing he can decide is which club he wants the money from? European Champions or Tottenham?
