I still say we sell him. His lack of pace will become a liability in a few seasons time when he gets older

It's something Crouch needs to work on for sure. He's too skinny at the moment. Needs more power.

he isnt my favorite player by any stretch of the imagination but its very very hard to criticise his attitude, he has twelve goals this year and thats not bad at all. Plus if you watch him during games he is a very very intelligent footballer, makes good runs and works very hard. I can understand why Rafa bought him and why he rates him. He might not be a natural predator in the box a la robbie and his heading could be a lot better but as a striker he always does exactly what a coach would want by making the right runs, laying off the ball well and always following up lost causes. He was a big factor in beating chelsea, even mourinho said that his centre backs werent able to cope with him.....so the initial post was a bit harsh in my opinion

see that goal by Henry in the last mintute, why can't Crouch do that? If he can do that he can kick 30 a season!
and make him pump some weights in the gym please, he gets pushed off too easily!! (same as pennant)

Although he can't head the ball with authority but he had created a lot of havic for defenders. He created more space for our other forward. The fact that we bought him for 7million was a bargain (Not believing myself to say this but it's true) and Newcastle is welling to purchase him at 12 million speaks for something (I know Newcastle doesn't know Shlt when buying players but still..). Just provided another attacking option for us and not many team can say the same. Unless we found somebody like Biehoff, otherwise, we should keep Crouch.
