That's all!

Benitez is a blind guy to don't see that Cissé is a really good striker, so...:D

In Marseille we trust in Cissé :blues:

Cisse isn't a good striker, in Le Championat maybe but not here. He has pace and powerful shot, but thats not good enough at this level.

He lacks too many things that he should already have at the age of 24.

To be fair, I really dont think the lad has had a decent enough run to be judged properly. He's scored three in eight premier league starts for us this season - on face value thats not a bad return.  Where Rafa wants to play 4-4-2 I reckon we could do worse than use Crouch/Cisse or Mori/Cisse together for 4-5 games in a row and see what happens.

The manager dosen't seem to think so
All managers have their own ideas
I just happen to think, I'd sooner see him stay and play week in week out, in place of Crouch who I'm sorry to say I don not rate atall.

Thats because you are clueless when it comes to football.

Crouch gives us options. Sissy doesn't. Crouch works for the side and is unselfish.  Sissy isn't. All he can do is run and kick a ball very hard. Thats it. He has :censored: ALL else.

End of.

Maybe the Cisse supporters, and Crouch-bashers have one common fault.
Is it not possible that Rafa sees his squad not merely as;
Goalkeepers,
Defenders,
Midfielders and
Strikers?

Maybe Mr Benitez sees the limitations of this way of thinking, and has his own ideas, without such rigid structure.

We all assume Rafa sees Crouch as a striker in a team, but I'm not sure he does. I feel he sees him as an important cog in the mechanism which is LFC. Not a striker, not a midfielder, but a lanky stalwart in an advanced position who does all the donkey work, and balances the team.
Who can argue that we don't generally play better with Crouch in the side? He is, in effect, a direct replacement for Heskey. He doesn't have Emile's pace or strength, but he is, for my money, ten times better.
Cisse is an unintentional replacement for Owen, and to be honest he just isn't as good. No where near infact. The fact he doesn't get too many games for LFC says it all about the man's attitude, ability and workrate. He's fricking idle, and while he may be a decent player, he is never going to fit into Rafa's style.
In a nutshell, the only way Cisse will succeed at LFC is to play him with Crouch (Owen/Heskey) while playing a long-ball/counter-attacking system. (That is boring, and sh*t.)

I say p*ss the fecker off, and buy someone who will play the way the manager asks, and not sulk if he's dropped for being w*nk.

I've gotta say thought that I am shocked that some people don't rate crouch. As a goalscorer? Fair enough, but that's like saying finnan is a mediocre right winger. Why? 'cos he's a right back as Crouch is not a striker. Crouch is an old-fashioned centre forward who creates attacking play and increases the teams overall possession taking pressure of the back four.

Cisse deserves a chance to play alongside Crouch as I am sure he will be used in fa cup games and most definatley in a  couple of the matches we have to play within that 8 day period. At this moment in time though, Crouch is the only certainty to start upfront in a first choice XI as he is the vital link as Lando pointed out.

Cisse is not the answer and I wouldn't be surprised if Garcia becomes the fox-in-the-box alongside Crouch which I touted a while back (send a medal to me in the post :D ) as when the new right winger comes in there is no way i can see rafa droppin luis

there's no french club able to spend 15M€ for one player except lyon but they took carew and fred this summer....
cisse wants to play the world cup and rafa don't seems to believe on him, it's simple, a loan is the only solution for liverpool

Our Cisse aint going anywhere on the cheap.Rafa`s a shrewd man,i wouldnt be surprised if Marseilles or Lyon end up paying 15million Euro for him.

funny thing is that that is quite possible-- france needs a 3rd striker and cisse is supposed to be a god -- he won't play in pool so maybe just maybe marsaille or lyon or psg will pony up to save the nat'l team -- face it -he was great before in france and still would be -- 10-15 mill could get us alot and pongo could fill cisse's roll and remember mellor is healthy again -- arsenal anyone -- just joking but pongo can do the change oif pace thing -- just start nando & crouch most games -- remember kewell and garcia can play striker too

rafa sees the players as one big solid unit and undivided. This is what nederlanders call total voetball. In total football all players significantly play each other with a single objective at a time; to score goal in one complete "rotation". Rafa indeed improvised the players in this department. Never in houllier's reign we see players performed fluidly and comfortably as been displayed now. It is true that we lost some games but just take a quick reflection just how did we lost those games.
Rafa is moulding the players' to become total footballers, not just individual players. He does not care who scores during a match but rather look at the collective efforts put to get those goals behind the net. As such he needs players that fit to play AS A FAMILIA.. not glory getters.
I am no cisse or crouch or moro basher but the way i look at it, crouch is definitely fit into rafa's bill, i don't know about moro and i am sure as hell that cisse is no team player..
