Regarding Adam, Stoke are reportedly favorites with a 5mill bid. Fulham could well be back in the race though for him with Noble rejecting them today. Either way, i hope we (and he) accept whatever bid that comes his way.

On Carroll, I hear we are trying to push him out to finance a possible deal for Walcott. If so, I'd be more than happy to sacrifice Carroll although it would be hard to digest given how much we paid for him. In an ideal world, Carroll would stay and we'd still put in a bid for Walcott. Hopefully the money from the sale of Adam & Spearing is put towards a bid for Walcott before committing it to the seemingly done Dempsey deal.

There are better prospects in the reserves who can provide depth, and provide more generally compared to Adam.
