Good news, although he hasn't technically signed yet. The clubs have agreed terms that's all.

Im sure the players agent has all the personal terms agreed ages ago with the club, it was the club that was the main sticking point!

Chuffed anyway, a good addition to the squad and offers something different with his left peg - free-kicks, corners, passing and long range shots! Only one who could challenge his left peg was aurelio!

Finally our squad is starting to get stronger!!

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.

I'm delighted that Charlie looks to be on his way, at last. I honestly think he's better than any other midfielder we have, with the exception of Gerrard. Hopefully, after the deal is finalised, he will be the driving force in midfield for years to come.  :)

agree with Ice Man, someone with a left peg for set pieces. Happy with this but we need to push on and strengthen other areas. Not sure how much he improves the team but its more depth and definitely something we need and he was captain so he'll be a confident lad.

Welcome to the party Charlie :)

Signing doesn't excite me massively but he should prove to be a useful addition to the squad. Offers us balance in MF with his left peg and will also prove to be useful from set pieces.

heard so much abt the lad but didnt really see him play much. a search a youtube doesnt
help too as its only shows his free kick and penalty kicks but no his passing.

signing Adam means we have 3 new CM (Henderson + Aquaman), dont really see how it can
add more dimension to the team. But cant wait for him to put on the famous red shirt.

With Adam signed, now we just need one of Carra, Agger or Skrtl to learn how to attack a cross/corner and get a header on target!  Or else just get Krygiakos to learn how to defend cos he is already class at attacking crosses up the other end :D

From my local paper, Blackpool Gazette:

BLACKPOOL have agreed a deal with Liverpool for Charlie Adam.

The Seasiders’ captain is on his way to Merseyside to complete a medical after a deal was struck on Wednesday morning.

Blackpool chairman Karl Oyston is understood to have held fresh talks with his counterparts at Liverpool last night.

And the deal was agreed this morning.

The Seasiders are expected to receive somewhere in the region of £7m, as well as two players
