I feel most of the sensible people have understood it would take time for Rodger's methods to take effect, and regardless this season, we weren't realistically challenging for the top 4.

Personally, I've been thrilled with him. I think he handles things well.  People say he always talks too highly of our performances when we aren't good, but I think he's honest and is optimistic.  He points out the good so the players don't fall apart, and shows he has belief that Liverpool could do well with the players we've got.  Wenger and Mancini are always complaining that if they had 1 or 2 more players they wouldn't be having the problems they do.  Rodger's just says he's happy with what he's got, he's got financial backing and if he he says the need for improvement he'll make it, but he's thrilled with our current players.  That's the attitude a manager should have, in my opinion.

Think BR has done really well this year. We are scoring tons of goals and we have definitely improved as a side throughout the season. My only complaints is sometimes we look very frail defensively and are terrible at defending set pieces. Hopefully we can bring in some bigger, more athletic players that can help with that over the summer.

Also, been very pleased with our business in the transfer window. 12m for Sturridge and 8m for Coutinho look to be masterstrokes. Borini doesn't look great, but he's young and on low wages so we should be able to recoup our investment. Joe Allen is a great player but was massively overplayed during the first half of the season. Needs a long rest.

The most encouraging thing to me about our transfer policy is instead of trying to force a deal through for Tom Ince and overpaying. We said ok, we don't value him at 8m, and bought Coutinho (a better player) for the right price. That is how you work the transfer market.

Brendan has done a great job. He said we would improve as the season went on and we have. Remember the games we were drawing and really should have won was when we really only had Suarez upfront and a poor Stewart Downing. Gerrard also wasnt playing very well and Lucas was injured up until the Southampton game? December 1st.

Since January we have looked very good taking out the WBA game. What we need now is to finish the season strongly hopefully in some kind of European football and the owners continue to back Brendans vision.

Completely echo your post, some of us on here have been saying this for months now.

Liverpool under Brendan are just an inconsistent side. To lose a match is one thing, but to lose with clueless play at the back of 3 impressive league wins shows Liverpool are a Jekyll and Hyde team and do not even deserve to qualify for Europe. BR is repeating the same mistake of Kenny in justifying his poor signings by playing them week in week out and that fella is J.Allen. I feel Brendan has got the Liverpool job too soon, it is still very uncertain whether he can be the saviour or just another Roy.

Allen is obviously struggling at the moment and if this injury he has is hindering him then BR really shouldn't be starting him but I don't know how bad it is and the manager sees him in training so you would think would be in the best position to call it

Not once in the article did it mention the figure 20 million from anyone. all it says is he will be given a budget. Never once mentioned Suarez or HAVING to sell players in matter of fact it says the contrary.

I support Brendan and will do until he leaves the club. However he must take responsibility with the result yesterday Allen for lucas

I'm not sure that the result would have been much different even if Lucas had started the game given how the second half went and his non-tackle for the third goal. The midfield looks awful at the moment over a run of games in terms of properly protecting the defence and in terms of consistency. Mascherano and Alonso have never been properly replaced. Only Gerrard and Coutinho are of the same quality as the midfield we had when Rafa was in charge.
