Bolton are winning most of the battles but we are creating good chances, just need to take them. Our midfield needs to be quicker with our passing, Bolton are pressing well and forcing us into long hopefull balls.

Doesn't seem to be any real urgency in our game. We've had some chances but so have Bolton. Can see this slipping away if we don't step things up.

I rather we bring on benayoun on the wings as at least he can run with the ball, cross it....you know stuff wingers are supposed to do.

I know this is very bias against kuyt...but thats what i think.

not been watching the game then? looks like hes had a decent enough game to me. better off taking alonso off from what vie seen. but he'll keep it til 65 no matter what

If you call running around like a headless chicken in search of the ball then he is doing an awesome job.

If you call taking on opposition defenders and putting in crosses for gerrard and torres then he is doing a pi$$-a$$ job....

And yes, i am watching the game...   :)

not sure why Rafa would want Arbeloa and Riise as subs Can't really see a move that he could make with Riise that he couldn't also make with Arbeloa, could of had room for Lucas, Pennant, Agger,    or even Pacheco :D

I'd rather take off alonoso , shift stevie to the middle , bring on yossi . At least Kuyt's doing a better job that alonso

It looks to me like we're sitting back a little too much and are looking to pick them off on the break.  Not a terrible strategy but we need to keep the ball better.  I don't think there's any need for changes just yet nor do I think any of our lads are playing "sh!te".  We're in a comfort zone and I think we could pay the penalty if we don't put this game to bed soon.  We look especially wobbly defending set pieces so we need a goal or preferably two for insurance.

On Babel, I've been impressed the most with his attitude so far today.  He seems interested to get involved and looks a completely different prospect when his head is in it.

Grain of salt, mate.  He's not been terrible.  Bolton's got a midfield five, it should be remembered, whereas we've got Gerrard pushing forward with Babel, Torres and Kuyt, leaving Alonso and Mascherano to battle in the middle.

DOn't mean to sound harsh , he's been very useless , just wasting a space in the 11 . I think this spells the end of playing days for LFC , no doubt the alonso brigade will have something to say to defend him

Bolton are pressing him same as most sides do now and he needs to find a way to combat it. He actually looks a little faster today than we have seen for a while. I think he looks thinner too, maybe lost a few pounds?
