I disagree. I would have played Aquilani alongside Poulson, and moved Gerrard up behind Torres. This would have meant the exclusion of Lucas and N'Gog. I'm sure that would have made a difference.

Shame we never got to see the best of him, but we should never have signed him in the first place. He was never a like-for-like replacement for Alonso and he's struggled with injuries for years and years.
