.. eloquent post once again Saint..

.. I think that we all agree that the quality of passing and the fluency with which the Reds are now beginning to play.. is a pleasantry to look forawrd to on  Saturday's/Sunday's /mondays/ or Tues / Wed .. whichever day we now play :D

More importantly will be the abiltiy to put in consistantly good performances and  plug the gaps where the Boss clearly assess strengthening is needed... Benitez expects a 40% improvement over the coming months.. by then we'll be a real force to reckon with... :)

Good post as usual StMike.

-During the summer I read on LFC.tv that Benitez wants goals from the midfield as much or even more than from the forwards. I like the fact that the strikers aren't the only one who are scoring for us, it gives us more diversity in a way.

Well we certainly in  a better position then i thought possible once a new management came in. While my expectations werent really high for this season especially with late out transfer of Owen and late incoming transfers of Garcia and Alonso, they are so far being more then  exceeded. This has been made even more pleasing when you consider the injury to Gerrard and how some of more maligned squad players have shown some real flashes of value, which i think is a excellent  indication of how good a manager we have signed.
I expect there will still be more pain before the gain and some new transfers are really needed but the future is bright and red. And that light at end of the tunnel for me is a lot closer then what it has been for a very long time.

:p its amazing the difference a year makes-- its fun to watch the optimism in the writing-- no more slagging gh
loses to man u and chelsea are not happily taken but we can't cry too much -- lets see the return legs--

just compare to last year and no owen no gerrard and still winning -- no-one would expect that

add in the emergence as greatly improved players -- traore finnan warnock baros risse and of course the fabulous goal scorer biscan and the optimism is well founded

winning this year ?? realistically no -- third yes

winning in 2 yrs -- DEFINITELY YES

St Michael/Paul Tomkins- do me a favour and answer these two questions:
1. Where do you live? (a town/city will do)
2. What is your favourite band?

Your credibility depends on these answers, in public forum.........:p

Its Ok buddy it has already been cleared up.

St Mike copied the article.

Is it that much of a problem that it was copied, it should be seen as flattery.
