ps: S.hit! we were one of the favourites of a tournament which we cant even qualify..  :sniffle

I know and Id blame him for jinxing your world cup chances, putting teams in before they qualify could anger mother nature :D

Some people think football is a matter of life and death. I don't like that attitude. I can assure them it is much more serious than that.        BILL SHANKLY

If the WC was not in Europe I'd be sure that Brazil would win it. But WC done in Europe are not traditionally won by Americans but Europeans. So I'd take a look to England and Holland aswell.

Spain? if everything goes as expected, we'll meet Brazil on our favourite stage, quarters of final, while I think we could beat the brazilians, we are cursed, so I won't expect anything.

Its a good point about the home continent factor, though i guess Brazil does have the history of winning it on European soil.
England certainly has the talent to have a good shot at it, and Dutch may prove to be dark horses
Guess you never write the Germans off once a competition starts with home ground advantage

Though i still think it willbe the Aussies   :D

Every counrty is in the world cup with the intention to win it.
Some countries have a tradition of actually expecting to win it and these are the same teams that have won it before like Italy,Germany and Brazil.

But who knows,a team that is not in your poll could even win it...a team like Ivory Coast or Ghana :)

First of all the fans will win. I found a page where you can see what the Germans expect:

WORLDCUP SUPERFANS :buttrock

And I think that Germany will present a very good team.

This survey is flawed, its doesn't have Australia as an option. :D

Seriously though, "other" would be a good idea.
