Bale was brilliant.  He was the difference between both sides.
i was sad watching Spurs do so well.  It made me realise how far Liverpool are away from the CL.

im not looking forward to playing Spurs either. Bale and Lennon on Johnson and Konchesky.

i cant see Spurs going too far in the CL though.  You need to be able to defend to get through knockout ties.

Incredible really how Bale ripped them to shreds over there, and then did it again two weeks later. Rather than talking about mountains of sugar, bottles of milk and the like, the Inter Milan managers time might have been better spent trying to come up with a solution to the problem .

Amazing how less than 12 months ago that same team squeezed the life out of barcelona to the extent Lionel Messi didn't get a kick for two matches, and now they can't stop Gareth Bale.

Yes it is amazing that the same team beat Everton 8 times in previous encounters to being totally humiliated by them a few weeks ago RAFA OUT !!!

It won't be long before the clamour for Rafa's return becomes absolutely deafening from some. It's loud now, and that's while he's still got a job

well made up yeah?

who the feck cares if Inter lost? They are not LFC...

by looking at the reactions on here it proves the point that the ones who are still obsessed with Rafa are the anti-Rafa's...

I just don't understand the need to rejoice at someones else's faliures especially if that someone else was an ex liverpool manager who brought us success and made us a European giant once again...

And to think that these same people are the ones preaching respect, class, decorum and accusing other posters of lacking the same thing that they themselves lack even more... Good going "Respectfulz". You are indeed very classy...

I am not saying I want Rafa back but I think its childish and pathetic that people are revelling in Spurs beating Inter, when we beat Inter ourselves with rafa in charge.
Some people have very short memories our current manager couldnt even beat Blackpool or Everton, so I dont know why its so amusing I know Im not laughing.
And lets see how we fair against Spurs before taking the p!ss out of inter.

It’s all about irony my dear friend.

The irony that Rafa said in his pre-match conference that Roy needed to concentrate on his job, while the whole time he was clearly not concentrating on his - Hence Inter were spanked and made Spurs look like Real Madrid.

The irony that Roy is criticised for saying the wrong things in press conferences, when Rafa was infamous for making himself look a t!t on a regular basis. Yesterday was another cringeworthy display. Moutains of sugar? Bottles of milk? The media pi$$ themselves with laughter everytime he tries to do something like this. FACT

You think Rafa is still on some crusade for LFC? You’re wrong…it’s all about Rafa’s EGO and nothing else.

But irony is still a wonderful thing…

When Rafa won the Champions League in 05, i believe we lost 2 group games.  Not a big deal.  They beat Spurs at home. They lost away.

I really admire what Rafa is trying to do at Inter.  He is trying his best to get that team to play some football instead of the Anti football used by jose.

And i was right again!  I said yesterday that i thought Spurs would win and that there'd be some serious back patting from the people that "don't care about Rafa or Inter".
