lol mate it was not that lon ago that you also asked Rafa to be sacked lol  :D

But you don't get rid of a top manager unless you have some as good to take their place. We got rid of Britney Spears and brought in Patsty fkn Palmer.

hey dont knock the Palmer ! lol

yer i think by the time the club did it most managers had just got new contracts , we took too long.

Took too long my ar.se... you lot were pretty much jizzing over yourselves with your 'arm round the shoulder' bolloc.ks and 'if he got to a Europa league final with them imagine what he can do with us' malarky. Just face facts it was a mistake.

Anyway not like I have to persuade anyone, it's clear for everyone to see anyway.

As for tonight though im sure Rafa will take away a lot from the game. Spurs are a good side, they have some very talented players despite all the injuries. Deadly on the counter attack... unfortunately for spurs fans I think they will be the ultimate casualty of Bales form.

lol you was calling for it aswell mate, there posts still up on the forum that you made asking for him to be sack along with a lot of other members.

"thats it he must go" was one of yours lol

Bales form is outstanding right now, wonder if he can keep it up, he cut that team apart in 2 games. spurs could buil;d a team around him and they will be a very hard team to beat.

If some top teams really do come in for Bale I can't see them keeping him. If teams like us, Utd and Arsenal can lose top players to other leagues why can't they? And don't forget for years we were in Europe on a regular basis, always in the latter stages too, same for utd and Arsenal.

Spurs will have a fight to keep him, unless he comes to us i hope they do.

benitez is a brilliant champions league manager. They could win it this year.

I didn't get to see this game so don't know what went wrong. All my complaints about him were about league and signings but his record here in champions league was excellent (bar last year).

Spurs have a lot of pace, would be difficult for even Barca to come here and stop them playing like that.

Wouldnt surprise me   :D

It just goes to show that if you go at a defender with pace you have a good chance of beating him. To many of todays players wont do this and prefer to play the safe ball back.

Fair play to Bale for gong for it and fair play to Harry for letting him, some managers would think it too much of a risk for there winger to be at that for the whole game

When Glen Johnsons fit Roy should play him on the wing and kelly behind him hes the best attacking wide player we have and he cant defend for toffee.

Not a bad idea. My thoughts on him as a full back have been well documented (okay by me :D ) but I  like proper wingers and not centre forwards like Kuyt and Babel, give it a lash - what do we have to lose?

tactically inept? sorry mate but if I was forced to choose between Roy and Rafa in terms of tactical awareness I really don't think you have any grounds to laugh
