I think with the subsequent Rafa Benitez thread being surplus to requirements I believe a thread describing the mans attributes and his future successes should be constructed ............. so with this in mind I submit this humble offering

especially given the attention a certain Mourinho thread collated

I personally think that Benitez with a generous board will deliver a veritable glut of trophies for Inter Milan
Also I would like to gauge the opinions of Inter fans as to his qualities or indeed his foibles

He's the beat manager in World football - simple as that.

I fell he is going to do just great, it will be like playering CL football every week for him.
the way Inter play is just how he was trying to get Liverpool to play, the sad fact was that it did not work in the prem every game.

He will only need to buy 2 players to fill in a few spots at inter. I hope we dont meet him in a knock out comp in the next few years.

Speaking of 2 players there is a rumor in the mail today saying he wants Masch and Kuyt for 33Mil.

He gets fired for not being good enough (7th spot FFS) and then gets paid £6,000,000 to go away and then gets another job paying him millions. What a life.

Anyway, he is taking over the best team in Europe that Mourinho has put together , a team that have won the league for the last (how many?) years.

If he doesn't win the league with them in 2011 it will say a lot about his abilities.

I'll rephrase that for you.

It says all you need to know about the man that the European Champions have taken on a guy that we paid to leave.

The guy can't win anyway. If he wins the treble next season like Maureen did his detractors will say "he won it with somebody elses team" just like some of our own "fans" said about Istanbul.

I am sure he will do a decent job.
And i hope he does. No reason not to want him to do well.

I am just glad that we will have someone new with a fresh approach and new ideas.
But i expect him to do well without a doubt.

Anything over the 35 million mark would be essential as the new man will not get a proverbial sniff of the £30million before its snatched away ,so I guess if Torres goes we should ask for 75 million so we at least get the 5mill and with that in mind 35 million for Gerrard and that will give us the princely sum of 15million to spend on replacements after selling three of possibly the finest players on the planet ..................... we cant lose can we mate
