He was playing well in the second half, but couldn't seem to quite figure it out until there was 15 minutes left.  Then every time he got the ball he went past 3 of them and we almost scored.  Absolute quality there.

after we were 2-1 up, Luiz got the ball  in Everton's 6 yard box, with Carroll open, i was thinking when didnt he pass it to Carroll, but then he pass it on to the on coming Maxi who almost a certain goal coming, hit the post.
i thought good vision from Luiz, he really work hard for the team, being the first defender coming down opposition in their own half.

he`s just a brilliant player, we need to build the club around this fella. that goal took some scoring, those 1 on 1`s arent easy, especially when you have a lot of time to think about the importance of the match and the gravity of the situation being 1 down. took his chance like the big time player he is.

agreed.
he's fantastic and is one of the best attacking players in the league.a very similar player as tevez and in a year or 2 every bit as good as him.
i really hope the young attacking players like suso, sterling and morgan are training along side this lad regular as he can be an inspiration for them.
his determination to keep going is amazing and doesnt matter how many times he's down he picks himself back up and just keeps running at defenders.id say half the league is terrified of marking him.
he's going to be some player for us next season :nod i can smell it already :nod .

I just hope he likes it here and wish to stay. He ofcourse will never be more important than the club but he is one hell of a player. He is our best player but still haven't had a great season which says a lot. Hope our backing of him pays off.

And, and, and...he guided it in with the outside of his boot.  Cool as you like with the defender breathing down his neck and Howard bearing down on him.  Top goal at a vital moment and the fundamental platform for our victory.  I'd criticized him in the first half for the shenanigans with Huitenga but he obviously put that to bed at halftime and came out to play.

yep, his second half performance was mostly about the best of him but the first was mostly about the worst. he's really not doing himself any favours with his insistence on going to ground or throwing his hands in the air. when he decides to actually battle a bit more and play football he's electric.

the way he ran onto it and guided it in with the outside of his boot was very much like what Owen used to do. great skill.

i think he prefers to score with the outside of the boot than the instep. i think he's probably better at it, too...

the biggest challenge for next season is devising a system to get the best out of him.

Suarez was sublime in the last 30 minutes ,he had Distan and Co terrified for most of the second half .
Little Genius blessed with such phenomenal close control ,and if we can utilize him the way Uruguay
do then we have a bona fide World class talent at our disposal who will become the envy of every team
in Europe .

I like Luis... but despite his genius I see some flaws in his play... the most obvious thing is that he doesn't seem to trust Carroll or anyone else... there were a couple of times he could've layed it on for Carroll for an easy finish... but instead he tried to do it all alone and the defender got to the ball... he needs to become more of a playmaker IMHO...

This one must have been down to the sporting gods and I just hope that Evra was watching along with his manager double fkg standards Ferguson. Luis and the club deserved his moment of brilliance after all the unfair sh.it that has been thrown at them. The icing on the cake was that he did it against a bitter shower of Manc loving fkrs who have given him more vile abuse than anybody!!! Carroll's goal came just at the right time to finish Everton off and all the prats chanting what a waste of money.Couldn't believe that some of their supporters left the ground with seven minutes to go when it was 2-1. What a bunch of bitter jokers!

He laid in Maxi for a sitter.

Luis Suarez is a world class player. I dont think its so much a case of him not trusting Carroll, its that the geordie is never in position that Maxi got into.

Suarez needs a partner with an awareness but also mobility.
