I am made up for the little Uruguayan magician. He hasn't been gone a year yet and he's already won the La Liga, Copa del Rey and now the European cup. I bet he's thinking thank fook I didn't stick with BR or as translated into Spanish El Roberto Bulls.hitter. Although he misses the best fans in the world. WELL DONE LUIS

It would have been fitting if Juventus would have won it 30 years after Heysel but congrats to Luis and Javier all the same.

F#&k them both.

Masher refused to play for us to force a move and Suarez dragged our name through the mud then tried to force a move to f#&king Arsenal. Before biting someone and dragging our name through the mud again.

To be fair to them they could see the direction the club was going and when you are as good as those 2 you aren't going to hang around at a club with no interest in challenging for the top honours in the game.
Players can tell if a club has ambition by just looking at their targets in the transfer market.
Just before Mascherano left in 2010 we signed a finished Joe Cole, Milan Jovanovic, Christian Poulson and John Joe Shelvey. We made his decision for him really.
Even in 2013/14 when we had that great season, there was no way we were going to persuade Suarez to stay in the long term by buying the likes of Mingolet, Aspas, Alberto, Cissokho, Moses etc. Yes we went on to have a unbelievable campaign but Suarez could tell that it was a flash in the pan and not part of a long term strategy to get the club back amongst footballs elite.
Players aren't soft.

As men and out of common courtesy, congratulations but the way the two of them engineered their way out of Anfield, their medals mean nothing to me.

At least we made $100M from these 2 players from Barcelona....

Yes they engineered a move away from us. But we benefitted enormously. Yes we reinvested the money badly. But its not their fault.

Compare and Contrast with the players we have now ? Can we even get $30M collectively if we sell Balo, Lambert, Lovern, Borini, Aspas, Alberto, Enrique....etc
