Oh I can mention that if you want, but you still won the series so I can't say too much really can I.

fucking brilliant ODI series, best i've seen in ages. pity NZ didn't win one of the first two , so that the decider would be awesome.

Scoring over 300 and losing, what a game. :)

The feck you will. You're an average team imo where as we have depth in our squad, and quality at that.

Klasnic will tear you lot apart.

dado prso is cack. If thats the threat that croatia possess, then i fear it will be japan and brazil who will qualify from that group.

no disrespect to croatia or australia, but they will not be up to it

They do possess a lot of quality though judge. They have a solid back four led by Igor Tudor and Robert Kovac. Prso is a decent predatory type striker, scores a lot of scrappy goals. Their best striker is Klasnic though, he's a good player.

They topped a Group consisting of Sweden, Bulgaria and Hungary without losing a game, and only conceded 5 goals in 10 matches. Croatia are favourites for second spot in their group for me.

their best year was 1998. i am not convinced yet, that croatia present a decent threat to 2nd place in the group

fair enough, their current team is not the quality of their 1998 team thats for sure. It's one of the toughest groups in the World Cup IMO, along with Argentina's.

when all the teams in that group are cack, you can see why its the hardest to qualify from. They are all as bad as each other   :D

I'm not talking about Prso. Dado Prso is a decent striker, nothing special and scores an odd goal from time to time however the real class and danger up front we have is Klasnic. He's superb, and he's been fantastic for Werder Bremen along with Klose.

Balaban has found some form as of late, hopefully he'll maintain that.

The World Cup means a lot to us, so we'll be up for it. We have a good selection of players who play all over Europe.

Japan are a decent team, but they don't have enough quality to go through. I've seen them play on many occasions[and I watch the J-League from time to time]. They're not a big threat, and we can definetly beat them.

I hate to agree with LFC#1 here but croatia have got to be favourites for 2 nd spot. On paper. However I am hoping a 30 year absence plus huge support from the whole country will spur the boys pull a couple of amazing upsets.

If Aus get through the group stage, it will be a minor miracle.
