Sure we didn’t have the squad today but we didn’t lose the game because of this.

We lost because of Karius.

What was evident was that our midfield is p*ss weak, with no quality, creativity.

This is proof enough we need another quality wide player who can rotate with Salah and Mane.

No leader. Henderson hasn't got the gonads or the voice to be captain. Where was the vocals when the team were frantically running around? That numpty in net didn't help but it was lost with horenderson . Shocking.

The defence did quite well, there wasn't much they could do about Bale's goal and the other 2 weren't their fault either.
If anyone failed to turn up was the MF, Henderson passed it backwards all night, even when we were losing and time was running out he kept giving it to our CB's.

Karius was a walking disaster area but our midfield was clearly out of its depth too, our front 3 papers over a hell of a lot of cracks.

To get to the final alone was a miracle with that clown in goal..how can a defence be expected to perform with him behind them?

It's been a unbelievable run abit like the Europa league run a few years ago.. but just like that it leaves a bad taste in your mouth the way both ended. We need to man up and start fighting in these games!! Give VVD the band for next year, get a new keeper, get some reinforcements and let's make teams pay for this disappointment.

Gutted. We didnt deserve to lose the final like that. Losing Salah was a massive blow but we were still well in it. You just can't give gifts like that in finals v big teams and expect to somehow get away with it. End of the day Real scored 1 worldie and 2 easy gift wrapped goals that don't get much easier than that. It's been a fabulous run in the competition but unfortunatly it's going to be remembered for what happened today and especially Karius's disastorous performance

We'd be doing the same if United or Everton lost a CL final, that's just football.
Its gutting to lose but truth be told this squad punched well above its weight this season, to finish in the top 4 and get to a CL final is a tremendous achievement, granted it doesn't feel like it right now but we'll get over it, this club has had far worse things happen to it.

Gini, Henderson and Milner were always going to struggle today but they ran their guts off for us to at least keep us in the game.

Lallana and Karius on the other hand were dog s.h*t awful and should never play for our club ever again.

Karius’ performance will go down in history as the worst in a CL final. To not be able to concentrate and let in those two goals on this stage is simply unforgivable. He needs a boot to the ***** tonight and told to never come back to Liverpool.

The club's heading in the right direction. We really are 3/4 players off of a unbelievable team. The only worry is when we get so close to building something special we tend to lose our best players in the process and have to start from scratch again.
