Liverpool vs Real Madrid UCL last 16. 21/02 20:00 Ko

Liverpool Football Club - Games

It is about time we finally beat these lot, they have been a pain in the fekin backside in recent times. Last year loss was the hardest to take imo, I couldn't get over it, especially how we missed out on the Epl.

Not going to be easy as we ain't performing to our standard. I feel we've got a better shot against them over 2 legs though rather than a one off.

Lady luck has to be on our side this time, Salah has been wanting revenge since 2018 so it is time he showed them.

I'm sure goal difference is out the equation now, so if they do score it ain't the end of the world.

Common redmen don't let us down.

The Champions League final feels like a lifetime ago. But really hope we've turned a corner and continue to improve with a win against these lot.

We shouldn't have lost the last final, never in a million years did they deserve to win it, but nothing can be done in terms of revenge right now about this, beating them in the last 16 won't be enough. I just hope we can somehow go through and get our season back on track.

I worry for young Bajcetic a bit. He's been phenomenal in the league but playing against someone like Real is a whole different thing and if he gets schooled by their experienced midfield it might hurt his confidence. Hopefully our "old guard" will be up for this one at least.

If ever we needed one of those magical European nights at Anfield it’s tomorrow, I hope the crowd are really up for it to give the boys a push. We are clearly the underdogs and that hasn’t been the case for a while, I hope we use that to regain our mojo.

No Toni Kroos and Aurelien Tchouameni, that should help

Looking forward to this tbh. We have pretty much the same side that lost in Paris so the motivation has got to be there to beat them. We have a little bit more up front now as well so hopefully that proves to be the difference.

We have to go for the home win and take the advantage over there. This is our best chance of going through imo. Going there with the pressure of having to win will be to much for a struggling side.

I hate this lot just a little less than I hate ManUre, I really hope we can make it through to the next round, last year and the previous defeat in the final certainty left a bitter taste.

Really good news about Captain Chaos !! Hopefully Darwin, Cody and Mo can turn on a performance that will make life a lot easier for the return leg. You can never be particularly confident against RM but let’s face it the team is now beginning to look like a team again. VVD and Joe have got a massive job on their hands. The same can be said for Trent up against Vinicius Junior. Big night for Bajcetic who seems to be riding high on confidence. WE JUST NEED A NIGHT WHEN IT ALL COMES TOGETHER !!
