Count me in RBG. Its par for the course to moan when we lose and celebrate when we win
Its a no brainer for me that unless we get taken over by an arab or russian billionaire anytime soon, then we are stuck with B-Rod and have to support him no matter what happens. The players are capable because they have shown us in various games. But they have also shown us they are incapable and that has to stop by them taking responsibility. At the moment we are letting ourselves down with the basics like corners and free kicks, throw ins and giving the ball away cheaply. We are being punished severely for our mistakes and we have to rectify these simple, yet crucial parts of our play. We can blame the manager all we want but if the players dont buck up, then its useless
I understand fans being slightly disgruntled with our inconsistencies ,but these failures have been exclusive to this club since Houllier was in charge .
Its been our Achilles heel for such a long time its now become part and parcel of the clubs make up ,I honestly dont think any manager that has come
after Evans has completely addressed the problem or come up with a solution to our disparity from game to game .
I honestly don't have any answers to the problem ,but I do know if Rodgers is to be the man who revolutionises this club ,and transform us into the team
he clearly believes we can be ,then it will be worth the pain and the subsequent scoffing of rival fans and media .
I honestly have been encouraged by watching some of our performances this season ,not least against Utd and City ,but somewhere along the way teams
that like to get stuck in have been our undoing ,but if we're completely honest with ourselves great passing teams such as Arsenal used to struggle against
the very same teams . Its managers who stick to their principles that I cant fail to admire ,and I'm sure if the club and owners persist with Rodgers and
his possession football then it will pay dividends ....
