We have one of the most sought after young managers in the modern game ,we're playing football the way it should be played ... I honestly don't think I have
seen a Liverpool team so willing to accept the ball ,virtually every player looks comfortable in possession ,we're slowly clawing our way up the table and a
couple of  wins would see us challenging for the much coveted 4th spot ... Some exceptionally talented young kids coming through and we have played most of the big teams off the proverbial park albeit from Arsenal  ,and before the Newcastle game Suarez had comfortably had the most shots on goal of all Premier strikers .

All that taken into account we're easily one of the most exciting teams going forward ....I mean we were constantly being told by the Bitters how much better
they were ,and how poor we had become ,yet but for a glaring error of judgement from Jones and a very dubious refereeing decision we almost took all the points.

So all of a sudden the Bitters were rendered silent once more .Rodgers made that change happen with some extremely imaginative changes of personnel
,because we were being overrun in midfield and the launched balls up to Fellaini (who incidentally bullied Uniteds midfield  to bits ) were negated by changing to three at the back and bringing Coates on... Moyes was flummoxed to the extent of allowing Liverpool the space to force the play in the last 10 minutes which nearly resulted in taking all the spoils ....

We murdered United and if we had pockets roomy enough to afford a referee we would have won ,we blew City off the park and should have had a hatful ,
when only a defensive error from Skrtel allowed them to get back in the game ...  As for Newcastle we dominated from start to finish and Pardew actually
believed prior to this game that his side were the ones  playing decent passing football ,Shelvey should have had a brace ,and Sterling ripped their back
four to shreds with his pace ......Oh, and we have the most exciting player in England in the mercurial magical Suarez ,who incidentally is one goal behind
United's Dutchman who heads the top scorers chart .

Yet still people moan

If you did, I think you were expecting a little too much.

he said if you stop suarez you stop liverpool.
we are very one dimensional, we pass it a lot but there`s very little penetration or end product, even if we do get into a decent position our final ball is usually wayward, and our crossing quite frankly is abysmal.

I have to say we did look rather predictable (in the second half anyway) against Newcastle, that is the only game which starkly reminded me of Kenny's side last year. A team that huffed and puffed, and lacked ideas, playing the ball around in front of their midfield and defense. There wasn't much movement at times against Newcastle and the tempo was too slow.

I absolutely love Rodgers.  I think he's a class manager, a class person, and an absolute role model when it comes to the way he works.  I think he's a really smart manager who believes in the proper way to play football, and I believe that he believes he will be here for 30 years, will have a few generations of players who truly believe in what he's doing and will love Liverpool, and will win lots of trophies.  I wish I could see 5 years down the line to be honest, because I think he's here for the long-run.  We've been extremely unfortunate this season, but we have played some brilliant football.  We'll see come January if we make the right choices in the market, and as he continues to tweak little things I think it will work out well for him.

Slagging someone off takes no effort whatsoever. Its like moaning, it comes naturally to most people because its not difficult to do.
Go on facebook or twitter, listen to phone ins, read the papers: moan, moan, Fu*king moan. "I dont like him", "He's sh'it", "He's clueless" "He's not good enough" on and on ad nauseum. There is no easy solution to the situation we are in. But SOMEONE'S got to try and get us back on an even keel. Someone has to take charge and try and steer us back on track to where we want to be. Not Gandalf, or Merlin or any other cu'nt with a magic wand, but a real, passionate, hard working man who believes and has a vision. Someone who is willing to take chances and change things. Someone who will have the balls to make mistakes and take the flack on behalf of the team. Someone who is desperate to put LFC back where the fans know we belong. Someone who "gets us"
Criticise all you want but youre wasting your time wishing and dreaming that Mourhino will arrive on a white horse and save the day. Rodgers is the new Shankly and people would be better off looking for positives and giving him their support rather than constantly whinging like arl women
