it's not that big a gap, remember how shocking Arsenal were at the start of last season with gooners asking for his head etc and look at how they came roaring back. I'm not expectign the same myself from us but I do expect us to be top 6 come the end of the seaosn but maybe higher if we start firing on all cylinders, we are so very close at the moment, and every week we seem to be getting better and as you guys now I'm not exactly the most happy clappy chap on this forum.  :D

It's a massive gap when you consider only 15 points have been played for and we have dropped 13 ?!

Arsenal had RvP to score 30 odd goals .

We won't reach top 8 this season.

you're wrong Benny, we will be in the top 8, give us some kinder fixtures and it'll come together
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

it`s too early to say, granted we are up against it because of our lack of options up front but in this modern 3 points for a win era a lot can change pretty quickly, you string 4 or 5 wins together and the table looks a lot different than it did a few weeks before.
i dont think any of the other sides look particularly great either, everton look the best team in the league to me at the moment so i think points will be dropped by the teams above us.
heimdall is right, it has been about fine margins, we should have beaten city, united and sunderland and even against west brom we were in total control of the game until the sending off, we are not far away from being a very good side imo.
the season doesnt end until next summer starts and anyone who lives in the u.k knows how long our winters are, as the nights are beginning to draw in next summer seems a long way off, there`s a long, long, long way to go yet.

What has angered me more than anything else this season is the fact we've offloaded, Kuyt, Maxi and Bellamy. Players whose experience and ability to alter the course of a match were invaluable to us and instead of keeping at least one of those three, we've offloaded them and now we're relying on youngsters to do the business. It says everything about the state of your team when your three best players are 17,20 and 22 in age.

Out of those lot though Benny the top 4 is a given... most of the time anyway.

At best we need to be slugging it out with Spurs for 5th place. But alarm bells should be ringing if Everton finish above us tbh.

I'd say Chelsea's best player by far is Juan Mata.

I'd also say our best players this season have been Sterling, Shelvey and Allen. Suarez has been his usual hit and miss self so far this season.

Okay so 1stly Mata is better than Hazard for chelsea this year.

Chelseas first game Wigan they win 2-0 he assists both
Chelseas 2nd they beat reading 4-2 Again he assists 2
3rd game Newcastle Scores and assists.

Mata has done nothing

2ndly yes sterling has been exciting. Allen has played very well and maybe has been our best player this year but Shelvey ?? Really
