Makes sense given their defensive problems at the moment but, as you rightly say Dundalk, that is like throwing petrol over the fire for the Spurs faithful.

I would take Sol in a shot. Short term pay as you play deal. He is better than the Greek and with Carra struggling at the moment would be another welcome voice at the back.

Can't sign Sol until January.

Although he is now basically free, he was under contract in the last transfer window so cannot be signed till the next window.

I thought he would have been a good shout instead of Kyriakos, save us 2 million on basically a backup defender!

I've got 10 minutes of decent clips of me as well , surely LFC should be signing me up. There questions over adapabilities plus how many young players are given a chance for us , Insua is the only one.

This is just rubbish journalism. Stevie G is not going anywhere fast. RM may bid for him, but believe me, Stevie G will not be going. He is, as most say, the heart and soul of Liverpool FC (of course along with Carra and Torres et al).

Rumoured to be after Valencia's Juan Mata in the summer for £16.5m. Left winger. Don't know much about him but maybe a swap deal with Riera or Babel (surely one of them would need to go) and possibly a younger/cheaper option to David Silva?
